Excellent hotel with good service and very pleasant staff. Bed was very comfortable with room spacious , as was the bathroom. The room was a little cold on entering but the temperature was easy to adjust. Breakfast was excellent.

Such a lovely visit today for a light lunch to the Piano bar! So nice to relax out of the rain with a cocktail! Food was tasty and with perfect portions for a quick bite! But our day was made by Sophie! So pleasant and friendly easy to chat to, helpful and very kind to our little girl!

It's not that the hotel was bad but there are certain expectations for the price paid. Our issues were; -no hand soap in the room, we were washing our hands with shower gel. - -No milk for the tea and coffee in the room -very small space around the bed (there was just 2 of us and we felt claustrophobic). -The view from our window was a brick wall (the worst view I've ever had in a hotel in this price bracket). - The room was cold and the thermostat didn't seem to work. -The keys just suddenly stop working and need to be reset by reception. - We hated the lack of privacy in the toilet. I don't know where this design came from but it needs a rethink. -The lighting in the room is poor around the mirror, no full length mirror either. - No place to hang up your wet towels. - Housekeeping came to our door to clean and we said we were just leaving so could they come back in 10mins. When we came back, the room hadn't been refreshed at all. - We had a floor full of young folk who had been at a formal. They were screaming, shouting and running around at 12.30am. This went on for about an hour and I had to phone reception to complain. They did eventually stop. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on breakfast. Drinks in the bar were pricey but we did enjoy them and we liked the entertainment in the bar downstairs. The hotel is nicely furnished and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It's a shame that the finer details let this hotel down. The best thing about the hotel is the location. It's only a 5 minute walk to City Hall and about a 15-20min walk to the Catherdral Quarter. I don't think we would stay here again and we wouldn't recommend it to others unless some changes were made. It's overpriced for service that would be on par with a travelodge.

We booked this hotel as a present for our daughter and her fiance. The staff were brilliant, especially Maria, who was amazing, she made the trip extra special, anything we asked, she happily helped. A great location, lovely food, piano bar for cocktails, lovely ambience. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Belfast. We'll definitely be back!

Popped into the Piano Bar for a little pre-dinner cocktail and a trip down memory lane as it has been 30yrs since we had been to Belfast. Lovely atmosphere, relaxed and lovely staff. Light lunch bites available and afternoon tea, which did look very nice. Great to see it looking so well.

Jemma Houston, you are a credit to the Europa. I would like to say a massive thank you to Jemma, from the very second you were most helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble, you went above and beyond. The room was setup perfectly for our conference, AV equipment on point and the catering was fantastic. If you are looking for a professional service with a personal touch, I truly cannot recommend the Europa and Jemma who delivered a first class service. Thank you again.

We stayed at the hotel for the night as we were attending the pantomime next door. Central location, friendly staff, great breakfast. We said it was our wedding anniversary and the hotel put two lovely cupcakes on our room, with a personal card which was lovely.
