Travelling in the middle of the pandemic means being willing to accept some limitations and here that meant that the hotel room was not automatically cleaned unless specifically requested (to avoid mixing), but the rrom was clean and bright and the staff friendly. The location is great for the city centre, the university, the Botanic Gardens and Ulster Museum. Would certainly stay here again.
I was extremely dissatisfied to discover my booking for Monday the 20th was cancelled and relocated to a different hotel which I did not want to stay in. However, I was willing to just re-arrange my booking. I phoned ibis reception to a very rude women to organise to re-arrange my booking, and she said she had no bookings for the 20th. Therefore. I proceeded in telling the member of staff that I had made the booking on booking.com, in which the company she worked for had rearranged my booking, she just rudely replied “cancel your booking online”, I wasn’t asking to cancel I was wanting to re-arrange, I then asked for the number of the hotel I was being moved too and she said just cancel it on booking.com AGAIN, I didn’t think it would be difficult to pass on the number of the hotel I was being moved too (which wasn’t my fault in the first place) . I was so disappointed, and I certainly don’t want to rearrange if that’s the way they treat their customers.…
Myself and my friend stayed here last week. We had a great time thanks to friendly staff and atmosphere as soon as we walked in. Special thanks to both Mark in the bar and Natalya in reception for the craic! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!
My stay was absolutely fantastic. The rooms were clean. And the staff were Incredible and so helpful. Mark and Fintan working nights Were Brilliant. The day staff Toma, Emily, Katie Gillian , Ciaran, Natalya and Melissa Where superb and assisted me in booking tours and any other inquiries I had. Housekeeping did a fantastic job in keeping the premises clean.
Had a wonderful time here, staff were extremely welcoming and friendly especially Natalya and Emily. Lovely atmosphere while enjoying a few drinks. Rooms are nice and had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was lovely. Definitely stay here again.
Myself and my partner recently stayed here. The hotel staff were so friendly and thoughtful. A special thanks to Kerrie-Rose who ensured we could check into our room when we arrived early, along with providing us with a complementary breakfast. The hotel location is a 15-20min walk into town which was perfect for us as it meant at night the area outside the hotel was quiet. We would totally recommend the cocktail bar House which is a 5min walk from the hotel. We would be sure to stay here again if we were to re-visit.
Partner and I stayed here from 25- 27 November, we had no issues at all. The rooms are adquate no airs and graces but bed very comfy and it was very very quiet also very clean Breakfast fine, mostly self service but cooked breakfast served to you which again was adquate. Shower very very good. Staff were very young but very very attentive and helpful. 10 mins walk to city centre. Comes recommended by us. plenty of places to eat nearby, we ate at Scalini and also Darbys
The only things that are good about this hotel are its location and the customer service. The cleanliness of our room was terrible and the same goes for the hotel in general. The carpet in the corridor was filthy and our room was dirty. We were greeted by dirt, hair and dust. Our room had wood flooring that had a layer of dirt and grime on it. I found rubbish under the sofa bed and had to ask for toilet paper as none had been placed in the bathroom before our arrival. There was one combined hand wash/body wash dispenser by the sink. It would have made sense to have another one in or by the shower.
Stayed 1 night when attending a show in the Waterfront Hall. 10 minute walk to the city centre with lots of bars, shops and restaurants beside the hotel and along the way. All staff very friendly- room clean with all essentials. Breakfast was good with all the usual hot and cold options. There is a bar which is open to 3am. No parking at the hotel but plenty of on street parking. Good value and would definitely stay again.
The room was clean, modern & comfy. The staff were friendly & helpful. Was good value for money. The parking however is an issue. Said in the ad that parking was available, the receptionist told me that they used the Holiday inn express car park situated approx 300yds down the road but it was full up, there were no available spaces on the street, ended up parking illegally in the church car park next door for 2 nights, then managed to get a space on the street for my 3rd & final night
