We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to both Belfast and The Marriott AC for being so incredibly welcoming and accommodating during our stay. As a lively group of nine menopausal and slightly tipsy “ladies,” we may not have been the quietest guests, but the staff’s patience and understanding truly made our experience unforgettable. The hotel itself was spotless, comfortable, and offered stunning views over the river, all while being perfectly located in the heart of the city. A special shout-out to Anthony and Susie, whose warmth and exceptional service went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. We are truly grateful for everything!

Excellent experience. The rooms are outstanding. Large and excellent beds. Very clean. Very quiet area. There is a parking building within couple minutes walking. It is very close to the center. Like 8-10 minutes walking. Also very close to the Titanic museum. The breakfast is rich. We loved this hotel. Definitely very highly recommended.

We had the pleasure of being looked after by Billie 3 mornings in a row at the AC Marriott. He was so attentive and also happy to have a chat whilst keeping an eye on his area. AC Marriott at first didn't feel like it was right for us but once we got our bearings it was a great location and breakfast catered for all diets. Thank you Billie you made us smile each morning.

This hotel is very well kept. Very clean and rooms are spacious and comfy. The receptionist was a nice chatty lady. 4 of us stayed in a family room for a show on the SSE Arena, it’s about a good 5/10min walk… We went to the bar in the hotel after the show, there was 1 man and 1 woman serving. I stood at the bar and the woman was serving someone and the man was cleaning behind the bar, a couple of girls came along after me and he served them first, after he served them he was chatting away to the other server and then went off again cleaning… after looking at me for the 5th time I said can I order and his reply was what? I eventually got our drinks…. We thought for some reason breakfast finished at 11am and we were down in the restaurant for going on 10am, we got seated and went up to the buffet but there was only a few sausages and scrambled egg left, we picked out of them and thought they would be refilling the hot plates…. They only refilled the fried eggs, when we asked the waitress when they were being refilled she said breakfast finished at 10am and it would take 10 mins to cook bacon, when I said I thought it was 11am it finished at she said that’s on a Saturday and Sunday only… after paying £12 a head for breakfast the evening before I think once we paid for it we should have got it! They turned off the toasters and lifted the glasses for juice etc… one man did come in about 20 past 10 and he was told he could have a bowl of cereal! Unbelievable…. For this and the barman I rate the hotel only 3 stars, the receptionist was lovely and helpful but the other staff we came across were not people friendly….

Booked a night here for new years the room was lovely and specious bed was so comfortable and the staff behind check in were very welcoming and friendly. We had food in a restaurant not at the hotel and decided to go back to the hotel to ring in the new year and have a few drinks in the lobby. The bar called last orders so we decided to get a couple of drinks to do us for awhile we sat in the lobby with another couple playing a game of cards when all of a sudden an aul bald lad staff member came over and started accusing us of pouring our own drinks and that we had brought in our own alcohol when we explained to him we had only paid for the drinks from the bar and had proof from our bank transactions he told us he would check the cameras and that we better not be lying to him or else we would see what was going to happen we told him to go and check the cameras as he would find nothing he stormed off I found this extremely rude after the money we spent to stay in the hotel and the money we spent getting drinks from the bar all night for this man to accuse us of any wrong doing we stayed for awhile longer but this really pi**ed me off and we decided to leave our drinks that we had PAID for from the hotel bar on the table while walking to the room we got nothing but dirty looks from this man the hotel was lovely and so was the check in staff but this man just made us feel very uncomfortable and I would not return here after spending a lot of money to be accused of something we never did.

Let's cut to the chase - we will not be back and I cannot recommend this hotel!
There was mould in the shower, glasses in the room had clearly not been washed with food debris along the rim, no complementary water in the room (there is a fridge with dirty glasses in it but no water! - most places offer at least a refillable bottle of tap or filtered water especially in this price range).
On the plus side, the room was very spacious.
We stayed 2 nights, breakfast on the first morning was a shambles - we waited 20 minutes for a table only to find only one coffee machine worked and there was no food left!
We ate dinner in the restaurant on the first night - if I were a famous chef I certainly would not put my name to this restaurant. The waiter was excellent though.
Parking isn't great - it's a bit of a walk but it's 11 pounds a night and there is a pick off and drop off area right in front of the hotel.
The area around the hotel is grim and it is a bit of a walk into town but in the summer I'm sure it's lovely on the river front.

We had a one night stay at the hotel while attending the Corrs concert. The staff are friendly and helpful. Shout out to the nice Filipino guy who served us at breakfast. Also, the receptionist who checked us in. Check-in like most hotels is 3 pm, but when we arrived at 4 pm to check in, our room was not ready. It was disappointing that our room was not ready when we arrived. We had already been delayed by roadworks throughout the city. We did get a complimentary drink, while we waited until the room was ready at 4:30pm. The hotel has a nice location backing onto the river. Some niggle issues we had was the tv didn't work. We did report the issue, but it was not fixed. There are no sockets at or anywhere near the one mirror in the bedroom and no razor socket in the bathroom. One last thing the staff in their rush to get us a room give us a disabled room. I didn't say anything as the only difference is in the bathroom.

My friend and I stayed in Merriot on Oct 2nd. Despite its style and elegance this was not a four star experience! I agree with a previous contributor that reception staff certainly require training !! There was no water in our room , nothing in the mini fridge. When my friend enquired she was told that as we were in a standard room we were not entitled to water as it was only allocated to superior rooms!! Reception suggested that we could “ bring a jug up fro the bar”” to the 8th floor! My friend asked if water could be sent up but there was a charge of 6 pounds for this “service”!! We are experienced travellers worldwide but have never had such a poor response to our request for something that is quite simply always available in hotels and guest houses! We will not use this hotel chain again or recommend it to friends.

I am undecided as to whether I am going to give this hotel a 3 or a 4 star but I think that it deserves better than a 3 star but does not deserve a 4 star. 3 and a half is what I would give the hotel for the price.
First of all is the location. The hotel is situation in the middle of nowhere beside a lovely Quay. It is a good walk to get to either the Titanic or the centre of the city. Parking is across the road and if you get the ticket validated, it costs £11 per day instead of £22.
The room was lovely and quiet which was fantastic. The shower was excellent with a good flow of water. However, it is the small things that mark a stay. As mentioned beforehand, a 4 star hotel such as this should have water. It is weird that there is a fridge with empty glasses in it. Secondly the remote control for the tv looked very bold and it was very weird that the sound cut out while I was watching a rugby match. It was late in the evening and I just did not want to go downstairs.
We did not eat in the hotel as originally planned. Breakfast was fine with a good supply of food and coffee though this is the first hotel I have been in with no orange juice. This is not a good or bad point.
Staff were friendly but a big shout out goes to the lady who validated my car park ticket. She was super friendly.
Altogether, I would consider going back if in Belfast.

I stayed at the AC Marriott Hotel for two nights while on a tour with Intrepid Travel. This was by far the nicest accommodation we had during the tour. I had a single supplement, so I was booked into a room with a king sized bed. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It had every amenity I could want, including a safe, a mini fridge, air conditioning, an iron, a hair dryer, toiletries, a kettle, tea, coffee, etc. The bed was comfortable, I had a small table with two chairs in my room, and I had a nice view of the river and Titanic Belfast. The bathroom had two options for the shower – a rain shower or a handheld shower head. I dined in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed my meal very much. The hotel was located in a safe, convenient location. I had two issues during my stay. The room did not have good air circulation unless the air conditioning was on. It’s not possible to leave the air conditioning on when you are not in the room, as the power is activated by your room key. I did laundry, and my clothes did not dry over the course of two days – so I had to iron them and then use the hair dryer to finish drying them so I could pack them for the next leg of the trip. The biggest concern I had, however, was housekeeping entering my room even though I had the “Do Not Disturb” tag on my door. The tag was still on my door when I returned, so it was not an error on my part. I had a shirt I needed to exchange on the table, and housekeeping discarded the packaging for the shirt. They also took the towels I’d used and had hanging to dry but didn’t replace them. I reported this concern to the front desk in the morning, and the front desk staff member said she would inform housekeeping when they got in. Despite the issue with housekeeping, I would consider staying here again. However, I think I would prefer to see if a hotel closer to the center of town was available.

I think the Queen size are bigger than a standard double here in the UK but perhaps you should contact the hotel directly the would be only too happy to give you the exact sizes.
There are more places to choose from in the Belfast area.
