We accidentally booked at the wrong location in Belfast (there are 2). Last minute on a busy Friday night, the front desk was able to accommodate us and we were only charged for the location where we actually stayed. After checking in, my father and I enjoyed a wonderful dining experience in their restaurant provided by Cara, Conan and Niamh as they were highly professional and charming. Dad had the baked cod while I had fish and chips, both dishes were so delightful we cleaned our plates. We would like to thank the staff, especially Cara, for making our night a special one. We recommend a stay while here in Belfast.

Niamh, Sasha and Michael at the front desk 10 out of 10 not only for their knowledge and thoughtfulness. They were the best..
The operations manager, Pam I’d like to give accolades to her as well
The hotel is placed in a great location, walking distance to everything Belfast city but also like to give a special accolade to Nina. The housekeeper who was very good when I arrived at that hotel she was the only one that actually cleaned the room and cleaned it properly.
I would suggest that Nina be the train to the trainers train the trainer program and she could perhaps give some reference to some of those other housekeepers that were cleaning the rooms

Just back from an overnight stay in the Maldron with my husband for his birthday. We arrived early on Saturday before the room was available and the reception staff kindly stored our bags whilst we went shopping in the City Centre. When we arrived back we checked in - an executive king size room on the 11th floor. The room inc bathroom was spotless. It was kitted out with everything you would need inc tea/coffee machine and Sky TV. We were also greeted with a beautiful welcome card from the hotel staff on wildlife flower seed paper that my son and daughter will be delighted to plant ❤️. We were in a corner room with a fantastic view with the city lights in foreground and the Belfast hills in the distance. The bathroom was a good size, great lighting and a fantastic shower. Just make sure to put down the floor mat as the shower door doesn’t slide which is fine though. We didn’t have an evening meal in the hotel as we had other plans made but from what we saw on our way out the food and portions did look good! We did have breakfast though and there is anything you could wish for. All your cooked items inc potato and soda bread (that I don’t remember being provided in a number of other hotels), Fresh fruit salad, nuts, seeds, wide selection of cereals, continental breakfast, porridge on order, wide selection of breads and also a separate gluten free section with bread, cereal, milks etc. Great value hotel in the centre of Belfast City with friendly and courteous staff. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel is a building with long corridors and little natural light. Like ship cabins. It is all carpeted, hallways and rooms.
The rooms on the south side face a narrow street with very high offices and therefore without views and little natural light. If the window opens you see the office workers and they see you.
Breakfast is abundant if you choose English, but very limited if you want pastries. Few cold cuts. Offers basic fruit salad (with melon especially) and bananas.
The elevators did not always work and sometimes at breakfast time only one of three worked, another was broken and another was carrying suitcases. We decided to go down the twelve flights of stairs.
The key cards were misconfigured again and again and we had to go many times to have them programmed to be able to enter and use the elevator.
We had room 1215 and it was not the "luxury" that was promised. Some three stars better for space and features. When we first arrived, the bed had the sheets wrinkled as if they hadn't been made (they didn't make it again until a few days later and it was then perfect). There was a grate hanging from the ceiling. They had it repaired the next day.
The staff was generally correct, some more friendly and others very unfriendly. They should improve the room and cleaning service, which is very fair, not to mention that sometimes it has errors, as was the case with the bed that was probably used when arriving at the room.
On a positive note, we had a problem with the suitcase lock and they helped us very efficiently.
We expected more.

The hotel is well located. However check in is very late, and they are inflexible about it. It was explained to reception that NOT all rooms become available at 14:30 on the dot but we could not check in one minute earlier. Check out was at 11:00 AM, and considering the late check in, this was disappointingly early. Upon checking with the reception manager, an exception could not be made. ("If we make the exception for you, we will have to do it for all"). Most people check out WAY earlier however, and there was NO way the cleaning staff could clean ALL rooms at 11:00. And considering check in is at 14:30 only, a complimentary extension of an hour would have been appreciated, but alas.....

Stay here at least once a month and always have a pleasant stay and love the room. Sadly not today. I have been given a disability access room right next to the lift. The shower has a round curtain and is tiny due to having a huge seat in it for a disabled person. The bed is also very low to the floor and definitely not king. The mirror is missing the QRcode as advertised and the only way to find out information about the hotel and restaurant room service etc is to go downstairs or get someone from the restaurant to go through the full menu over the phone. I called and asked to change rooms but it's not possible

The hotel is very well located in the heart of Belfast, easy to reach from the central bus stops and only a few minutes walk from the City Hall - you can even easily walk to the Titanic museum if you wish so, takes about 30-40 minutes.
As for the interior of the hotel, it looks quite modern and fine on the ground floor, but when looking a bit more closely it became evident that at least in my room some fresh paint here and there would be welcome. Holding the complete flushing apparatus of the toilet in my hands on the first evening was also not a convincing experience, though help to solve the issue came quickly.
I had dinner once in the restaurant and while it took ages before the meal arrived, it was actually very good if slightly too expensive for what it was. The breakfast however depended a lot on whether it was busy or not - and mostly it was busy as many groups seem to use the hotel and get up early for their tours. Refilling cheese or pastries took quite some time, if at all, and there was absolutely no variation during the several days I stayed.
Some staff were very friendly, others quite reserved.
As I've done all my sightseeing I wanted to do in and around Belfast, it is unlikely I will go back to that place. But it's still an acceptable choice if you can ignore some of what I mentioned above. I would definitely not book the breakfast though, there's plenty of cafés etc around to grab something.

We stayed at the Maldron for a Belfast weekend, and found it comfortable and excellently located. The room replenishment (water, soap, teabags etc) was a little hit and miss. The restaurant was only average.
Although in the middle of a district full of late-night places and a room facing the street, it was quiet which made for a good sleep.

Such a lovely hotel, a ray of sunshine in an otherwise drab part of Belfast. Well situated to grand central station. Lovely welcome from reception staff. Quick check-in and up to the well lead out modern room, comfortable beds, great shower, two bottles of water provided, just perfect. We were attending a gig in the Ulster hall which was a hop skip and jump away. We came back to the bar area for a nightcap. Again friendly staff, maybe would have liked some music channel playing on TV but that's just something personal. Breakfast the next morning was lovely and plentiful. Cereals, fruit, yogurt, cheese, ham, breads, bacon, sausage, eggs etc fruit juices, teas and coffees. Lovely dining area, plenty of space and again lovely staff. We got our parking ticket checked before leaving and it reduced the overnight parking to £12, saved £10. Remember to book for breakfast, the receptionist was on the ball and reminded us when checking in. Would definitely use here again

Stayed here as our other accommodation fell through. The hotel was well located and central. The room was nice albeit quite small. The towels were very small and lacked anywhere to hang them. There was no fridge and so medication needed to be kept in ice, although the ice machines were not working.
As I say, it was a good location, but suspect that you could get similar standard in the same location a lot cheaper.
