We received a warm welcome to this lovely Hotel made even better by a complimentary drink in the bar (drinks of our choice I would add) - this got our stay off to a lovely start. The car park is small so beware if you have a large car as the road is very narrow turning into or out of the car park and cars are parked all along this narrow street. The parking is also £20 per day/night so not cheap. Our room was perfect - bottles of water, biscuits and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was very modern with a beautiful stand alone bath and separate shower. White Company shower gel/body lotion were lovely. The bed was very comfortable too! Breakfast was great - good choice and very pleasant friendly staff serving. We enjoyed a drink in the Palm Court lounge in the evening where a jazz band were the entertainment. This Hotel is only a short stroll away from Windsor Castle or the Long Walk in the other direction so perfectly placed to enjoy the town. Our stay was really perfect and I would most definitely recommend a stay here.…
Went to RA as within walking distance of a friend’s party. Close to Long Walk and all the sights of Windsor. Recent makeover, so all very modern. Parking is limited and adds £20 to bill Emily at receptionist and Seamus in the bar were both charming Formerly a Best Western hotel, but now independent again
Excellent few days in Windsor, staying at the Royal Adelaide. Welcoming staff, clean hotel and rooms made for a lovely break. The hotel is well situated for easy access to the town, castle and long walk (accessed just opposite the hotel entrance). Eton and river trips are also only a 10 min walk away. We’d missed the information about needing to pre-book (and pay) for parking, but thankfully this wasn’t an issue and we were able to leave the car in the car park for the entire duration of our stay and were also permitted to leave it for an hour or two after checkout, whilst we spent some time in the town centre on our last day. Whilst there’s only a limited choice on the dinner menu, the quality was excellent on the evening we dined in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was also first rate and served at the table, ensuring all the items were freshly cooked to order. The complimentary drink was also a pleasant addition to the stay. I’d recommend the Royal Adelaide if you’re planning a visit to Windsor or Eton.…
We stayed for 2 nights ,the room was spacious and extremely clean and quiet . Very comfortable beds and pillows . Breakfast both mornings was great with good quality products . Breakfast is served rather than buffet style which we prefer. All the staff we interacted with were polite and helpful. A complimentary drink was offered on arrival which we took advantage off after dinner a nice touch .The Hotel is perfectly positioned we arrived by train and took a taxi but walked to station when we departed . Located opposite the long walk and only a 10 minute stroll into the main town we found it to be ideal . This Hotel is clean , bright and decorated in vibrant colours throughout with a delightful courtyard . There is a car park at the rear but we left the car at home . If staying in Windsor choose the Royal Adelaide you won’t be disappointed.…
