A small group of us wanted to visit this hotel for our version of afternoon tea (basically prosecco and pudding) to celebrate my birthday, and after speaking with two members of staff on the phone beforehand, I was assured that our slightly unusual catering request would not be a problem. Upon arrival this afternoon, we were informed that the kitchen was closed and that food was not available during the afternoon. When I complained, a limited menu was begrudgingly produced, but contrary to the information on the hotel's website, the only vegan choice was sorbet, which on a cold November afternoon, was not at all what we wanted. We stayed for drinks, but the atmosphere was as flat as the cappucino I was served. We did verbalise our disappointment, but the staff were not remotely interested. We won't be going back.

Hotel's Favorite
I visited on a rare child free night with my husband. The hotel is beautiful, the central staircase is quite amazing. The car park is small but the front of house (Mimi?) couldn't have been more helpful, we eventually left our car keys with her in case anyone needed to get out.the room was very cosy and the shower room very well done. The spa is a real treat, we were warmly welcomed and had a shower first, it is very small but beautifully fitted out, and the hydrotherapy pool was very relaxing, especially with a glass of wine which we ordered from the friendly girl on the desk and was brought on for us. The steam room is also perfect. Breakfast was amazing in the beautiful dining room. Would definitely stay here again, even if only for the warm welcome and amazing service. Thank you!

Stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate my Birthday. Hotel was lovely, bedroom decorated nicely, very comfortable bed. Enjoyed cocktails in the bar after dinner. All staff were excellent, particularly Lucy, Sean, Harry and Rachel. Would definitely like to return.

What a lovely find.. We have stayed at many of the other hotels in this chain but the one in Chichester for me is just that bit extra special.. Nestled on the corner of a street within walking distance to the town centre, I would say it's a gorgeous boutique hotel with lovely staff throughout. The decor is lovely and elegant, the room we had was superb. It was the little touches that I appreciated on my birthday, the special treats in our room and the fact that the reception staff knew straight away and wished me happy birthday. It was the manager greating us at the doorway and asking how our day was, it was the restaurant staff smiling and wishing us a good day and the bar staff being so friendly as we sat and discussed gins. Huge recognition goes to how brilliant all their staff were, I was honestly impressed. We're already planning our next stay.

This was our second visit to the Chichester Harbour Hotel, and we liked it just as much as the first time. The hotel is very comfortable with great beds, nice toiletries, and good sized rooms. The spa is small (just a steam room and jacuzzi bath) but on both our visits we had it to ourselves. Breakfasts are generous. The location is good - the hotel is just on the edge of the city centre, next to a park and city walls. However, what really makes the place for me are the staff who are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The one downside is the very small carpark, which fills up quickly leaving others to have to park in a nearby NCB carpark.
