Been to the Nags Head on previous family visits. Table for nine booked for 19:00 My order was for Ham eggs and chips. Asked if the eggs could be "Easy over" and was advised it was a professional chef and should not be a problem. Waitress returned to advise my request for the eggs could not be done. Eventually the meal arrived with two half cooked fried eggs which were cold. Not at all impressed with the meal and the slow service even though the place was practically empty. Might well give this establishment a miss on my next family visit.

Popped in for a drink on Thursday 28th, very quiet which is a shame as staff are very good and food always excellent. Location at the end of East outside of the precinct probably contributes to the volume of trade, if you are in Chi give it a go1

In the past I've slated their BBQ ribs because the meat as bland with the sauce added afterwards. Today I had the Lamb shank which was Excellent. The potato and leek soup was lovely. The service was quick and pleasant. Spouse had the turkey carvery and enjoyed it. I like the place although some Knob had double parked a van in the car park, near the entrance causing problems but you can't blame the place for that. I deffo would return just for the meal I had. Staff were great.

Partner ordered ham, egg n chips, complained That ham was sour and tasted off, even the dog turned it down! Assistant manager said it was fine and done nothing to rectify I ordered dressed crab salad which arrived as small plate with sprinkles of crab, tasteless Bill just under £40, crap food and service, wont return. Food was always edible in this establishment but not anymore!

We booked at the last minute, going to Chichester to see South Pacific. The Naggs Head was the only place with vacancies. It was in a good central location. The ambience was lovely, and the room was just right for us. It was very good value. I would thoroughly recommend the Naggs Head. We had a lovely two days in Chichester and would go again.
