We chose this B&B based on price and reviews and were not disappointed. We wanted to visit Bath Christmas markets, do some sightseeing and meet up with friends from Bristol and this proved to be the perfect base. The landlady, Pat was very helpful, her house is lovely. Bath stone with original features and a pretty garden. We had the twin room which was the only room left at time of booking. The room was up stairs. It had an en-suite built in which was a bit of a squeeze but the shower was lovely. The beds were hard and noisy but after a full day, very welcome. There was a small TV, we only put it on for the news in the morning. There were also tea and coffee making facilities. We sat in the conservatory for breakfast which was plentiful, as you'd expect and nothing was too much trouble. Pat provides a parking permit so we parked the car for the duration of our stay. We only had a 10 min stroll to central Bath and loved the Christmas market! Whenever you go do visit Bath Abbey, the Roman baths and do a sightseeing bus. Please note Pat prefers to settle in cash!…
This B & B is luxuriously furnished in the style of yesteryear. Our room had a very comfortable four poster bed. Pat, our host, was very friendly and welcoming. Greenways is within an easy walk of Beth's city centre. The only downside was that is has no signage and it took us a while to locate the right place.
Green ways is a delightful little haven 10 minutes walk from all the splendour of Bath. The rooms are beautiful & styled romantically, in keeping with the period of Jane Austen, 1st Lady of Bath. Very pretty garden also. Pat the owner was charming & helpful & cooked us a delicious full English breakfast before our departure. I would highly recommend a stay here.
This place is wonderful typical English old traditional temple. But you need to read what you are booking. Pat, the owner is so lovely and laid back, the room is like for the princess:) quiet, birds singing, clean guest house. I'm so happy we found it!!!
Stayed one night in a twin room with a friend recently. The welcome from Pat was warm and genuine. The place is like stepping back in time with the décor, furniture and general ambience. Clean and comfortable for a short stay. Don't expect to watch feature films on the very small TV (get out and explore Bath instead!). Pat went to the trouble of sorting out a vegan breakfast for me (much appreciated) and also lent us parking permits so we could leave our cars right by the house. Less than 10 minute walk into the city centre. Would recommend staying here if you want something other than a bland brand hotel/motel.
