We stayed here for one night and could be our new place to stay in York. The room was very clean and nice little touches such as slippers, fresh milk biscuits and toiletries. The bed was comfy and we had a perfect sleep. Breakfast was delivered to our room due to current restrictions. This was delicious and fresh. Staff were pleasant and friendly, can’t be easy with current restrictions but did a good job.

I had such a good experience at the Judge’s Lodging! The service was brilliant and even though it was busy we never had to wait very long for our drinks. The huts were fantastic! I’ll definitely be coming back!

Visited judges for some outdoor drinks (COVID safe) in one of their cosy new outdoor huts, which included a heater for extra comfort! Sheep skin rugs were also a lovely touch. The service was excellent; Fast and staff were all very friendly. The cocktail menu has something for all and I was not disappointed. Top quality drinks and a relaxing ambiance! Can’t wait to go back.

We have been for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks today. Despite the rain and us happening to spill two drinks over the table we were made to feel very welcome with young children and it was a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Such a great spot to watch the world go by and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time. Definitely worth a visit here. Great staff, ambiance and food. Only one suggestion would be a greater choice of ales. Thank you!

We stayed in this Hotel for 2 nights Dec 2020 for Xmas shopping trip. Very quaint building, each room unique in décor and style. We had room 11 - superior executive room (apartment more like) with Jacuzzi. Very large room with 2 huge TVs, excellent bathroom with super spa bath and large shower. very old fashioned but comfortable. No fridge in room but reception provide fresh milk as required in small flask for tea / coffee. Very nice breakfast, cooked to order and great choice. Brilliant location right on main road into city centre. Staff very friendly and keen to help, especially the waitress at breakfast (young Spanish girl ??) who was lovely. Very minor issues - windows hard to reach or very stiff in room, no soap in bathroom initially, cereals slightly past usel by date at breakfast.
