Room standard was as good as any high end hotel. Staff were all very warm and welcoming Note to car park users, you need to validate your parking ticket in the hotel and at the machine in the car park.

Six of us stayed here for one night, great location for City centre, its only a few minutes walk away, car park is a minute walk from the hotel and £5 a night, staff really friendly and helpful, will be staying again and would recommend.

Overall the room and the place was what you expect, butg the staff were rude and unhelpful, not interested in solving any problems. The Shower and bathroom was distinctly average, and worse than comparable places I have stayed (e.g. Travelodge). Also be aware the free WIFI is poor, you realistically need to pay for the upgraded version if you want to work. Additionally phone signal is poor throughout the building so it is hard to use the hotspot, car parking is also a bit of a hasstle compared to other places I have stayed. Avoid if you can.

Just got back home after a pleasant and relaxing stay at the Premier Inn, which, unfortunately, but fortuitously at the same time, has had to be cut short because of the Covid-19 Tier 4 regulations coming into force at midnight, Boxing Day, thus reducing my stay by 2 days, but am satisfied that refunds for both days were made today, so that’s all good. It was a great location, with river views, and all Covid safety measures were all being taken very seriously. The restaurant couldn’t operate as normal, as I was given a menu on arrival, which if I fancied anything, I’d need to place my order with reception and they’d ask you to return within 10/15 minutes to pick it up and take back to your room. You had to wear your mask at all times when moving around the building. The food was nice although I felt sad that you had to eat from a cardboard container with wooden cutlery, which screamed out loud to me, how detrimental this whole pandemic is! I hope to return at some point, under different circumstances and at the same time, thank the friendly staff for their friendly and professional service and for keeping me informed of any possible changes that may have affected my stay, although I will not let this dampen my impression at all, as the staff couldn’t do enough for you, they cared, they were efficient and clearly displayed great customer service training skills. Hope that all the staff have lovely Christmasses and that 2021 will hopefully rejuvenate all those people in hospitality who work very hard all year round to make people’s stays as safe and enjoyable as they can.

Great location car park was very handy and very cheap. Room was great although a little warm even at the end of October. Only downside was they were very short staffed as it took a long time to check in and the wait for our breakfast order was over 30 mins. Having said that the staff we did encounter were very helpful and polite All in all though great value for money and will definitely return. When we. Ext visit this lovely city.
