We stayed here early Nov on the special weekend deal RO. Clean cosy room, door a little thin as we were woken very early Sunday am by someone chatting before he went for a run. Very close to town, 10 mins walk maximum. Parking no problem. Very attentive staff, breakfasts were great, coffee could be a little stronger, but the proper tea we had on Sunday was spot on. We will definitely return.
We stayed 1 night at the lovely Georgian Townhouse. Room was perfect, quite quirky which we liked and loved the Smeg fridge ..a nice touch. Not too far to walk into town and parking on the premises which was ideal.
I stayed here recently for 3 nights and had a great room with lots of character. It was perfect and had a great modern clean ensuite too. The bed was super comfy and I slept really well as it was so quiet even though it was on the road side and above the bar, not sure how they've done it in such an old building but the sound proofing must be good. All of the staff we encountered were really really friendly and helpful and nothing seemed too difficult. Absolutely loved the breakfast options. We ate there one evening too and enjoyed it as the food, wine and service were great. The location was perfect, there's loads of parking and the place has atmosphere and isn't formal or stuffy. Thanks for a great weekend during what must be difficult times for the hospitality industry!…
Spent three nights here with friends and loved it. The staff were super friendly and accommodating (we had late arrivals/room shuffling). The rooms themselves are really comfortable and well thought out- smeg fridge made a stylish change and things like the cold refillable water bottle in the fridge were a nice touch. Bathrooms were well fitted out too and had v good water pressure (so many places don't!). Breakfast was v good and plentiful. Overall would thoroughly recommend as a place to stay. On the practical front there is parking on-site and its a short walk into the town centre.
Visited last week for a long weekend with girlfriends. Service was excellent throughout our stay. Food very good. Recommend The Nest if you are in a group as it has a separate sitting room. The centre of Norwich is easily walking distance. Highly recommend The Sainsbury Centre, a short drive from the hotel.
