This is the second time we have stayed here. The staff here are amazing! Everyone is so kind and helpful from getting you a taxi, seemless check in process, buying a quick bottle of pop! The location is great - about 5 minute walk to the Waterloo train station! The rooms are a great size and they along with the rest of the property are so clean. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Plentiful, clean, amazing selection. All the people that work at breakfast are so helpful and happy to engage. We also had dinner here one night and it was wonderful! The pumpkin soup was a nice Autumn Surprise! Our waiter was the best! We will be back for sure! The management of this hotel is just superior - and the happy faces of all the employees here signal that this must be a great place to work! Keep on doing what you are doing!

Booked the hotel on points but looking at the price per room per night it’s very reasonable for central London. Location is great, plenty of buses outside to the west end/Euston and Hampstead and the tube and Waterloo station just up the street.
Zero complaints from me regarding my stay. Digital key worked great but in future I think I’ll collect a regular one as had to use different bits of it to open the main door at night then another to operate the lift etc. Room was fine, I do like to open a window and get fresh air in (personal preference), but not possible as windows are sealed and there is climate control. Loved the layout of the bathroom and shower cubicle and controls and had a great sleep. Luggage was stored next day free of charge. We took breakfast but in these Covid times it’s a paper bag to take away with minimal contact and help yourself to tea and coffee. Understandable in these days but some places do this much better than others, the Glasgow Bellshill Doubletree was excellent recently.
Overall happily recommend this hotel on price location and facilities. I’d stay again for sure.

Having visited this hotel approximately 3 years' ago, I remember it being convenient and comfortable so booked it for an overnight stay. It suited our needs being near to Waterloo Station and the hotel is just a five minute' walk down Waterloo Road. We were fortunate in being given an early check-in by the friendly receptionist that enabled us to unpack and relax a little before heading out. The room was comfortable with City views towards The Shard and was warm that was a bonus on a chilly February day. The walk in shower was good and the room had the facilities needed, including a comfortable chair to sit and read. Breakfast was typical Hilton budget hotel fare but was well cooked and fairly extensive. It consisted of cereals; a range of fruits (mainly tinned); cold meat and cheese (neither being the best quality); a range of croissants, muffins/bagels and bread for toasting that were tasty and a selection of hot food. The hot food was the best option with the scrambled egg being well done and hot, well cooked bacon, tinned tomatoes, baked beans and OK sausages. If you can get a good price (not always the case) The Hampton by Hilton Waterloo is a good option for this part of London and we would happily stay there again.

I stayed at the Hampton by Hilton for a week right before Christmas. The location is excellent, providing easy access to buses and the Tube at Waterloo Station. It is a short walk to the National Theatre on the South Bank, and from there to the Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe or across the river into the West End. My room was nice sized and the staff was beyond accomodating. You could quibble about the occasional congestion at breakfast at times, but when you consider the cost and the location--and the breakfast, this hotel offers excellent value.

We decided to stay here because the hotel was centrally located to lots of things. London is an expensive city, no two ways about it, and we found this hotel to be a good value compared to others in the area. Breakfast was included in the price of our room, which meant one meal each day was already accounted for.

I saw another review saying that there are not many places to eat nearby, and that’s simply not accurate. Probably the best fish and chips in London is just a few doors down, there are several pubs closer to Waterloo station, and other restaurants are in a fairly easy walk.

Waterloo station is part of what makes this location so good. You can get to Anywhere in London easy enough from there, and it’s less than a ten minute walk from the hotel.

The room was small by American standards, but typically sized for Europe. The restroom was smartly laid out to maximize space, and it was cleaned thoroughly daily. Our room was pretty quiet and overlooked some apartments across the way.

We found the staff to be friendly, professional, and very helpful. If you’re staying in central London you can do much worse than this hotel. I’d recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a good place to stay.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by warm and welcoming staff and nothing changed the from the whole time we were there. The room was large and spotless and was quiet in the night which was perfect considering it was a central London location. My only downside would be that I wish the rooms had a mini fridge to help keep food and drink cold. The location is excellent located just a five minute walk from Waterloo station and around a 15 minute walk from Covent Gardens. The perfect location for anyone who wants to be in the heart of London. The breakfast options were amazing plenty of options for everyone we had the best time staying at this hotel. But highly recommend for anyone.

Stayed here with 2 friends for 3 nights in December. Our room was one with a double bed and a sofa bed to sleep the 3 of us. With the sofa bed made up there was literally no space in the room at all to move, or even really properly open our suitcases (I had a large case as visiting Uk for a month from Australia)
However, it was clean and there was a nice view of the Shard. And let’s face it you’re hardly in your room anyway except to sleep with all of London to explore!
The shower was nice and the bathroom spotless
Breakfast buffet was nice with extra points for providing vegetarian sausages.
Staff were friendly and helpful and it’s well located - few minutes walk to south bank and Waterloo station.

It was really quite hard to find a reasonable priced hotel for a short break as prices seemed rather high and not all hotels are open at the moment, so after a couple of weeks and no success, then asking around I was recommended this one and just went with it and so glad we did.

From being COVID secure, the rooms being spotlessly clean, the beds were really comfortable so had a great sleep, lovely food in the restaurant and a huge selection for breakfast, this along with a variety of staff who really couldn’t do enough for you as every member of the team that we came in contract with was so polite and extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

So all that’s left to say is ‘Thank you’ Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo for our lovely 2 night break we would not hesitate to return one day.

Booked 2 rooms online for a 1 night stay with friends.
The hotel is clean and tidy in an ideal location close to Waterloo station . However at the time of booking nothing was mentioned about the fact that they weren’t doing cooked breakfasts due to covid restrictions. At chk-in we were told to collect our breakfast bags from the restaurant in the morning. This consisted of 1 bacon bap, 1 yoghurt , 1 muffin and 1 apple. 1 orange juice.
In all my hotel experiences I have never been offered such an unappealing breakfast. I appreciate that covid is causing many problems for hotels but In my opinion at the point of booking you should be offered a price reduction on the room in favour of opting out of this meagre offering of a breakfast .

Having turned up 15 mins before our Check In time, we were told that we would be notified when our room was ready. After waiting for 30 minutes (15 minutes after out Check In time), I went back up to the desk and was told that we would be told when our room was ready, in about 5 minutes. After waiting for further 15 minutes (30 mins after Check In time) we were told that it would be another 5 minutes. After another 15 minutes (45 mins after Check In time) I queued up and was told another 5 minutes. At this point we were already running late for an appointment that we had (the reason we were in London) and I said that we need couldn't wait any longer. At this point the receptionist phoned the cleaner, who said it would be another 20-30 minutes. I said that it wasn't acceptable and that they needed to give us a different room. In the end we got into our room 60 minutes late and missed our appointment, costing us over £200.

This place is terribly run and I would recommend booking elsewhere!
