Really wanted to leave a fab review like others but we were failed at the most important use a hotel should have. The hotel is beautiful, welcome drinks and birthday cake a fab touch. The hotel is everything you would want for a luxurious night away escaping the children in hope of a good nights rest… until we actually wanted to sleep. The emergency green light was so bright it lit up the whole room I could of read a book in the light. The room was so hot even set to the lowest temperature (18) it was still saying the room was at 25 degrees. We eventually had enough and rang reception early hours of the morning, they said they could come and open our locked window (which in central London wouldn’t be much good or do us any favours in getting to sleep) they said they could also control the temperature from reception, so we opted for this. (The room got slightly cooler for all of 30 minutes) then became unbearably hot again. On checkout with zero sleep we informed the staff how we hadn’t slept, and they offered a 15% refund.. so we spend a few hundred pounds on no sleep. At this point We didn’t argue as it was my husbands birthday and I didn’t want to ruin it any further or other guests experience that were checking in behind us. I understand things may go wrong unexpectedly but to sleep in a hotel is the most important thing, I wish I saved my money and stayed at a premier inn. Where I would of slept. The 15% refund offer was disappointing. I’m afraid we won’t return. As sleep is more important than fancy treatment.

Hotel's Favorite
Went for a night with friends and on arrival receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Staff all friendly. Had drinks in bar and bar staff helpful with recommendations and making great cocktails. Fabulous place and couldn’t fault it.

This has been our second stay at this fabulous boutique hotel in a great location , near Victoria station and the Victoria Palace theatre (we watched Hamilton!) This trip was to celebrate my daughters 22nd birthday. We all loved the stylish, high tech rooms (which even a technophobe like myself could operate!) But it’s the staff thats of particular note, all courteous, professional and friendly. Sandesh,in the bar, has made both our stays particularly special by going over snd beyond to look after us. It’s special touches like this that leaves such a lasting impression and that glow of having had a lovely trip away. So thank you once again. And we shall definitely be back!
