We stayed as in 3 rooms as a family of 6 on 16 September. It was a deal we booked for my husband’s 60th which included rage oriental roasting menu in the secret garden in one of the pods. After a few hiccups with difficulty calling the hotel and receipt if booking through a third party, we arrived that day to a warm and professional reception. Staff could not have been any more courteous and helpful. They gave my husband a room upgrade with a balcony overlooking the gardens. It was divine. I was sceptical of the tasting menu but, again, could not fault it. My husband, daughters and their partners felt really spoilt. Thank you to all for making it so special.

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4 in a deluxe double room with Breakfast. Check in was quick and easy. We also received complimentary warm cookies for the room. Upon getting to the room there was a faint fishy smell which continued into the room. Nothing over powering but noticeable. The next night returning to the room it smelt like a meat and potato pasty so guessing the smells were rising from the restaurant. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a view over the Secret Garden which we appreciated at night winding down after a full day of activities. The bathroom was clean but you could see natural wear and tear with regards to the bathroom grouting and the odd hair, I’m guessing off housekeeping but it certainly didn’t effect our stay. Breakfast was really nice. Plenty of choice between hot and cold. The coffee machine also serves a nice cup of coffee and you get one to take away. Check out was quicker than check in so really impressed on the whole. We would recommend this hotel and we will certainly be returning as the location is great, it’s away from the hustle and bustle but in easy access to the station, museums, Kensington Palace/Gardens and Hyde Park.

We stayed one night for a short break. Excellent location , right across the road from the tube station, 3 minute walk to the nhm, lots of places to eat and drink around the hotel. Rooms were pleasant clean and comfortable, staff lovely and there was also a little beach at the back for the summer. Very pleased with stay. Executive lounge wasn’t open for drinks so we were given 2 free drinks vouchers pp which was great.

My husband and I recently stayed for 2 nights for our 10 year wedding anniversary and had a great time. We were able to check in and store our bags and were thrilled to be told we had been upgraded to a suite for our anniversary. The room was great with plenty of space and we really enjoyed the breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we look forward to returning soon.

Spending a weekend in London doing tourist things and this hotel was a great base with Gloucester Road tube station across the street it was well connected to the West End and other tourist areas. Our room was spacious and quiet with a beautiful view over the gardens to the back. The price offered good value and I would definitely look to stay here the next time I'm am spending a weekend in London.
