The Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge is widely celebrated for its top-notch amenities including various dining options and comfortable rooms with views of iconic landmarks like Big Ben, as guests have called out. While the atmosphere buzzes with elegance and live music, creating a welcoming ambiance, some travelers have noted inconsistencies with natural light in rooms and occasional housekeeping oversights.
Staff service often receives acclaim for its attentiveness and professionalism, and the hotel's central location garners praise for its convenience to attractions and transport. However, the value proposition is sometimes questioned due to the perceived high costs of breakfast and room upgrades.

The Park Plaza Hotel left us with a good impression however let’s kick off this review with check-in
The hotel offers two different ways to check-in. Online via the App and in person. I booked the king suite for me and my fiancé however upon arrival the room wasn’t ready for us to go to and as we were needing to change due to a event the company swapped our room with one that had been cleaned on the inside of the property. We went to the online check-in desk and got seen to immediately without having to wait.
Upon entering the room we was greeted by the heating controls, a basic hotel flat screen television, a telephone and a bathroom that had both a shower and a bath that could fit two people in it!
The bed is.. reinforced on a metal frame. The room has mood lighting.
The food was was really nice, the pizza was slightly on the smaller size but overall it was ok. The tiramisu was very tasty and the morning breakfast was pretty good but it cost £56 for two people. It included orange juice, tea, two hash browns, a small portion of beans, two sausages and lots of bread and a probiotic yogurt.
The checkout was done online and so we had we able to leave the property fast and the doorman found us a taxi. Overall we enjoyed our trip to this hotel and would stay there again in the future!

My dear friend and I went to London to celebrate her birthday and our 20 year friendship & chose to stay at PPWMB.
I was in contact with guest relations beforehand and Lorella was absolutely a delight to communicate with as was everyone at the hotel.
We had a warm welcome as we arrived- our room was ready a little early so we were able to check in - but also conciërge will secure your bags if check in isn’t quite ready so exploring can begin
It’s a great location central to many areas and within walking distance to Lambeth underground or also Waterloo.
The rooms were clean and well attended to & everyone we encountered was wonderful.
The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
Something I also noticed was how often I saw people in various areas cleaning throughout the day making sure everything stayed clean.
We will definitely be back to this hotel and have already recommended to others who will be staying there soon

This hotel is the best location, great restaurants (buffet breakfast included but you can order from menu), accessible to Starbucks and Illy, walking distance to most sites, tube, bus, restaurants, ask for exterior rooms, staff all very accommodating, clean property and rooms. Checkin was easy, Rachid took care of us and Olivia went the extra mile to accommodate a special room request. Olivia was extra sweet and friendly.

The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is a large hotel with a very good location for several of the big sights in London. We had a good 2-night stay, and as a Radisson VIP we received an upgrade from a basic room to a studio (no view). No in-room welcome gift or wine bottle, that others report, despite booking made directly with Radisson. Rooms were good, but a bit dated. Water temperature varied/was unreliable, keep an eye out if you have smaller children in the bathtubs. Having children we wanted to make use of the pool. As per hotel policy, we pre-booked swimming pool time. Unfortunately, the pool ended up being closed due to high chlorine levels. It is understandable that these things can happen, but this could have been informed via telephone/message, so that we could make use of our time elsewhere. Instead we were only informed upon our arrival at the spa. Communication here could be better, and my son would have been saved for the disappointment. We made use of the Executive Lounge several times, it was well worth the visit with great views of Big Ben and the bridge. Breakfast was good but quite basic selection of foods. Crowded restaurant, I would recommend taking the breakfast in the lounge if you have access. Rooms were tidied and cleaned well every day, and we felt welcome by the staff in the hallways. On the check-out day, we requested a late check out, which was only granted after i had reminded the receptionist that we had VIP status. The card renewal was not performed correctly with the new check-out time, and we ended up being locked out of our rooms, spending 20 minutes in a reception que to get card reactivated. This time we specifically asked the receptionist for the room key to be set to the check-out time, and still the reception did not do so. This lead to another awkward visit to the reception an hour later. All in all a great hotel, but the staff (reception and spa) could be much more proactive and precise. Lounge staff were fantastic. Receptionists also seemed to accept that people cut in the line the reception que. Would likely come back if for business/solo travel, but not with family.

This was our first time in London and we picked this hotel for its location. The area feels like Times Square in NYC. We had no view from our room (a wall). The room was clean on arrival and very dark with gray/black curtains, dark red rugs and the one wall was a portrait of a woman. There was no phone charger near the bed. Towels before the 4th day were brought in only when requested and old towels were not removed. The continental breakfast was about $30 USD and not worth the price in our opinion. (We found a Starbucks around the corner.) Alan, the Concierge, was extremely helpful as were the hotel porters and front desk staff. Request a view if you plan on staying.

+ Points The room was very spacious. It had a separate bedroom, a living room, dining room & small kitchen. The kitchen had a microwave, stove, sink, ref. We also had a balcony. The bath had a separate tub & shower area. There were two TVs, one in the bedroom & one in the living room. The shower pressure was very good (i hate it when it takes forever for me to finish rinsing 😂). 13-15th floor rooms had a separate elevator so it was faster to go up/down. We were at the 15th so this was really convenient. The location is very close to Big Ben & London Eye so taking a leisure walk either before starting the day activities or winding down at night is a feast for the eyes with all these landmarks close by. A bus stop & train station were also walking distance away from the hotel. Breakfast was generous with bacon, sausages, scrambled egg, toasts etc. we booked this hotel because it was just one bus ride to the Chelsea stadium.
- Points I informed the hotel prior that we were arriving late evening. However, despite this advise & also doing their online check-in feature a day prior, we arrived at the hotel with the room not setup for 4 people. I had to do so many follow up calls and the person online was telling me that their housekeeping was busy. I guess it was more like there were no housekeeping staff anymore since this was around 11pm to midnight already because honestly nobody came to setup the pullout bed. We did it ourselves & had to just use what we could use as a blanket & pillows. The towels supplied were also for two people only. In short, despite bookings & advises of having 4 people in the room, this was disregarded. There were no other basic toiletries available throughout our stay such as cotton, buds, shower cap, razor etc. good thing i generally pack this as part of my kit but knowing that Park Plaza is a 4 star hotel, i assumed that this was part of what i was paying for 🧐

Aside from the front desk or WhatsApp reception, the housekeeping was the worst we ever experienced in our entire life of travelling, all the toiletries were required to request upon check in, not even tooth brush or tooth paste, shower gel and shampoo was at almost empty, we stayed for 6 nights, only on the 6th day we managed to get the housekeeper to refill the shower gel and shampoo, the sink was clogged, and they dint fixed even with numerous of reminders or complaints to the reception, the water closet eventually clogged too and unable to flush the water down, they did not replace the bedsheet even when we specifically request for it, due to a stain on the bedsheet when we first check in, so basically i was staying in a room that i paid extra for the Big Ben view studio type, with a condition of clogged sink and water closet, and reminded the housekeeping everyday on refilling the shower gel and shampoo, but only managed to get them to refill on the 6th day of my stay, the housekeeping services was worst than a 2 star hotel.
Most of the toiletries or amenities were requested numerous times, but in the end they failed to refill or provide.
In the hotel website or email stated clearly if we have any items left behind that we wish to collect back, we may contact the hotel for this, but the moment we checked out, right after that I tried to contact the hotel reception on the whatspp as i left something in the hotel room, but they do not respond anymore

This used to be my hotel of choice when staying in London. Great location and easy to get to from either Westminster or Waterloo tubes and close to a lot of great locations. However, that said I doubt that I will stay there again. I travel over 100 days a year and stay in hotels around the world and never have I experienced anything as disgusting as I have in this place.
I stayed in room 662. The room reminded me of a Vegas hotel room. Worn out stains on the furniture, what looked like vomit or at least some type of spilled food on the curtains. The room smelled of sweat from the previous guest.
I arrived late at night and just jumped into bed. There was some type of paper in the sheets (I think from a previous guest). The next day I discovered a pair of socks rolled up at the side of the bed (definitely from a previous guest).
The shampoo was also empty in the room (I don’t mind not having single use plastics for shampoo, but the hotel then has an obligation to ensure the containers aren’t empty as most business travelers only take the bare minimum and rely on this amenity.).
I went to the reception and informed them and they apologized profusely. They said they would send a cleaning team up immediately.
When I got back to my room it did indeed look a little cleaner and it smelled better than when I left.
However, the next morning I discovered where the socks were the day before that there was used tissues and toenail clippings on the floor. The shampoo was still empty as was the body wash. And the vomit still on the curtain.
Also a weird design floor, the room has a bath but the bath was actually under the bathroom table. Never seen that before. Entering the bath is like entering an MRI machine. Crazy.
I complained again and asked to speak to a manager, she offered me a free upgrade on my next visit. I politely refused as I won’t be staying there again. There a stack of hotels in London so I’ll be trying my luck somewhere else from now on.

Stayed for 2 nights - 16th to 18th March on a room only basis.
Booked a studio room and were upgraded to a London Eye view room on the 11th floor. Room was nice and very spacious. The bathroom separated the 2 areas of the room which is ideal when travelling with older children.
The rooms could do with an upgrade to be honest. Certain aspects looked a bit grubby. Also there was only one side if the bed had a socket which didn't idea for charging your phone in bed after a busy day. We had a small fridge, microwave, cups, cutlery etc. We didn't really use any of the hotel facilities do I cant comment on them. I did buy a gin in the bar and nearly fainted St the price £12.50 for a gin and white lemonade!!!
We absolutely loved the location of this hotel. So central with easy access to tube and rail stations. We previously stayed in the Park Plaza Riverbank and whilst we preferred the decor and rooms there, the location of this hotel wins it hands down for us.

We booked this hotel over Remembrance weekend as we were attending an event at the Albert Hall on the Saturday and the Cenotaph Remembrance Service in Westminster on the Sunday
We booked a suite with a Big Ben View for a party of three adults, one of which was in a wheelchair. The suite was very well laid out and although some furniture was getting a bit worn the rooms were clean and functional. The lighting system was a little confusing for us non teckies, but the view of Big Ben and Parliament took our mind and eyes away from the few negatives
There were some little annoyances, the main one being the frequent loss of signal on the tv. Others, such as a lack of a 3rd cup and decaf coffee and tea were immediately remedied on request.
The brasserie restaurant was visited and the food and service could not be faulted. The checkin process was faultless and the gentleman who dealt with us, sorry, can’t recall his name, was courteous and professional. As I was taking part in the Cenotaph parade, and due to logistics the remaining party wished to watch on tv, a late checkout of 1 hour was given in good faith, thank you.
And last but by no means least, a big mention goes to the parking valets, who, despite the bitter chill, looked after us with regards to accessible parking, and all with a smile on their faces. Sorry I missed you at the end gents but thank you so much for your service and smiles.
All in all a great stay, would definitely return
