We arrived on the Friday afternoon just before 2 and checked in with out any issues. We were directed to our rooms which were clean and comfortable. We stayed dinner, bed and breakfast and The food was really good, the prices of the drinks were reasonable and the evening entertainment was really good. There were 3 advertised acts per night and 2 games of bingo between the acts. On Saturday night there was also the added bonus of a group of young entertainers before the main entertainment started. The entertainment ran from roughly 8pm- midnight. We had 3 rooms on level 1 and once we were in the rooms at night we didn’t have any issue with noise from the bar or other guests. All of the staff were helpful and we have booked to return. For us it was a no brainier… best stay in Blackpool we have had

We booked a family room for 3 a month before we went, only to be e mailed two days before stating there was a system error and we would be moved to a sister hotel the Alexandra. The Alexandra had horrific reviews plus we had booked The Royal Boston as my brother in law was over from abroad and was staying in an Air bnb around the corner. The manager said she could give us two double rooms which we agreed too although it meant I had to sleep with my daughter, and my husband in another room off a different corridor. The main entrance of the hotel was not being used and a side entrance was where many guests congregated to smoke. It wasn’t an appealing welcome. The receptionist was friendly although blamed booking . com for everything and directed us to our rooms. We went through the entertainment area around 4 o’clock and many guests were intoxicated. One tried to show us where the stairs were and couldn’t get a word out of their mouths! They all had all inclusive bands so people were drinking a lot. We spoke to some who said they’d be up till 4 and back on it before lunch. Our rooms were clean and comfortable although they were on the 1st floor and music and noise could be heard loudly until 3.30am at the earliest. I struggled sleeping. The cabaret was mixed. Some tacky bingo and youngsters singing over songs, although the Greatest Show was excellent. Staff in the restaurant were all friendly and the food was ok for breakfast. We probably wouldn’t return due to being let down with rooms, and behaviour of guests.

We have been to the royal Boston many times over the years including just a few weeks back in September for our silver wedding anniversary. We returned 12-15 the November as a gift from some special friends. As always we had a fantastic time. Suite lovely, food nice and tasty. All the staff were friendly and accommodating as always. Big shout out to the entertainment who work hard to make our trip enjoyable and memorable. I have to especially shout out to young Brandon, a really talented magician who, for such a young age has an amazing future ahead of him and it extremely friendly and courteous and wasn’t compare on Friday as said on a previous not so favourable review (therefore dissing the wrong performer, not that any of them are rude and unfunny so clearly was at a different show to the rest of us) but actually Saturday night. Also a massive shout to the regular acts, Danny king, Liam, Chris and of course the never to be missed dean standby. We look forwarding to returning in March, if not before. In total an amazing hotel through and through

I have stayed at the Boston before (September 2021) everything was fabulous then could not fault it, that is why we booked again. Room was ok however not as clean as could have been - the TV didn’t work however the weather was very windy so was due to the signal. As it was just on the dressing tableI i moved the TV to twiddle the aerial at the back , there was a lot of dust & muck behind it was not great definitely had not been cleaned. Sweet wrappers left on bedside table shelf and floor at the side of the single bed from previous guests. Toilet brush very dirty 🤮 also Behind toilet and sink ( only noticed as I dropped something) Food was ok, didn’t seem as nice as previous stay & wasn’t always hot. The staff in the dinning room are lovely and couldn’t do enough for us especially Stacey. Entertainment was good however found Brandon the host on the Friday evening 12/11 to be rude he was trying to be funny but really wasn’t. We had a great weekend, definitely value for money re food & drink ( I am a non drinker but plenty of soft drinks on the All Inc to choose from. Just don’t think it was a clean as it was on our last visit.
