The state of this hotel is a disgrace, nasty decor & a smell to match. The rubbish is piled high at the side of the building underneath the room windows. Bar closed ( not busy enough...?) Breakfast would be served in a cellar if you are there between 9am & 9:30, we entered at 9:28 & the landlord advised he had put it all the bin as we arrived late????? A horrible scruffy man to match the hole he lives in. Can't believe this place is advertised! We stayed 1 night & stayed out as much as possible. Please don't look at the photos on line, it's nothing like it! There are many more decent hotels in Blackpool that far out weight this hotel. Give it a miss and enjoy your break elsewhere.
Only good if your going for a hen do are not bothered we’re you sleep ,your lucky if you get a parking space ,the man on reception was so sad ,was not welcoming ,the lady who did are breakfast was very nice ,hotel needs a total upgrade ,sorry but not worth the money we paid ,
Firstly on some of the reviews make it sounds like a hell hole which I could see ANY evidence of this it's central yeah it's basic BUT it's clean and rooms are clean beds very comfy PG tips and nescafe in the rooms and bathroom is clean Very nice bar area and the balcony is lovely on a sunny day. If you read about the hotel roulf does state there is NO PARKING not hard to read now isit. The breakfast is exceptional English breakfast plus cereals, different Jams fresh fruit juice and tea or coffee it's really set us up for the day. I just want to thank roulf for a lovely stay we would defo come back. And the girls what a lovely bunch. Xxx
Hotel is not far from central pier so handy for most places trams and buses right outside the hotel . Couldn’t ask for more really .Roulf who is the owner is lovely he goes out of his way to help ,his breakfasts are lovely to , he runs the hotel by himself so it’s hard work for 1 but he does a good job , in my eyes just needs a woman’s touch here and there would go back again , you get what you pay for I thought it was reasonable.
My husband and I stayed at New Promenade hotel last week , came back Sunday . We had a fantastic week with great fiends who we met at the hotel a few years ago . We love this hotel and have been going for many years . The owner Ralph is great with us , my husband is disabled and in a wheel chair . Every time we go out he helps my husband down the steps and outside , carries the wheelchair down the steps too . Soon as he sees us come back Ralph will come and get my husband back inside and even wheel him back to our room or balcony wherever my husband wants to go . The staff are brilliant to . They also come and help. Breakfast is lovly and they accommodate us to as we can’t go to dining room , so we have ours upstairs . We love this hotel it’s a comfortable and friendly atmosphere . Ralph and all the staff can’t do enough for us . Been pensioners and my husband disabled we really appreciate all this .…
