Every round of drinks went up in price even though we were drinking the same. We would never stay here again what a big disappointment the photos look good on the site but that's is far as it goes.…
We are currently staying in this hotel. We stayed here about 6 and a half years ago, and we have had another great stay here. Reading previous reviews before we came back here, it was quite off putting, but I can honestly say, the only downside about this hotel is the bedrooms, which are in need of a full makeover. But our bed was clean and comfortable,. Right staff in the hotel were absolutely brilliant, very friendly and helpful. The cabaret bar is absolutely lovely, with amazing entertainment, 3 different acts per night. When we get to the hotel we didn't know it was a Turkey and tinsel few days, so it was a great laugh with, celebrating Christmas etc early. We stayed on a bed, breakfast and evening meal deal, which was lovely. Food was really good, plenty of choice, staff in the restaurant was very good too, couldn't do enough for us. Keep up the good work lyndene 👍…
Been coming to the lyndene now for 8 years and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit. To say we have come out of a pandemic and the hotel as been closed I think the staff have Done well to get it open and clean again. The rooms can be a little small but hey ho Yr only sleeping there. The breakfast is amazing. Evening meal excellent. The staff go far and beyond to look after you. We will certainly be staying there for the foreseeable future
Only writing this to try and balance the reviews. I read some negative reports on this place. Don't forget out of the 1000's of satisfied customers like me only a few will bother to review it. But.... out of a few folk with complaints a much higher percentage will post a negative review. So .. yes it is a little in need of some TLC but the staff were friendly. The hotel and our room was clean. Our beds were comfy. Food was OK. Big bonus was the parking. We only stayed 1 night and arrived at 11:00. Way too early for our room. But they checked us in and we could leave our car (and head for a pub ) This was very useful.
Not great but not terrible. Rooms dated and need a good thorough clean in all the nooks and crannies. Beds are horrendously uncomfortable - squeaky lumpy raised up at the foot end. Breakfast was tasty but the queue for it wasn’t great. Parking on sister hotel £5 per night . Wouldn’t stay again.
