Just to advise people I have been informed the hotel has gone in to administration. I have been advised to get a refund from who I booked it with, if done with an agency. Or to claim it back with my bank. I myself had a booking paid for and changed several times due to Covid and around the date of my booking I had no response, from emails, telephone calls and not able to leave a message. I finally got a response thanks to Accor Live Limitless who informed me the administration. Good luck everyone

We booked to stay here in Oct 2020 paid upfront, however due to COVID restrictions had to cancel we had an email back saying no problem we have a credit note and can rebook once restrictions are over which was fine. we now are unable to contact the hotel or company the phone number is dead, no reply to emails i even phoned IBIS preston who have no answers and just passed me on to international number for ACCOR hotels who have promised to call back and sort but to no avail. we think we have lost our money about £270

We came to stay on a birthday trip so were expecting a decent place to stay. We arrived and couldn't find the place as it was covered in scaffolding that no one had mentioned. The reception was visibly dirty and it took us a while to check in. When we finally got to our room we discovered we had two single beds instead of the double we had requested weeks before. On reporting this to staff we were told there was noting they could do so we were stuck. Breakfast in the morning was interesting to say the least. It was two small paper bags which contained a child size cereal box a cardboard bowl. A tiny muffin, Apple and milk accompanied this 'breakfast' The breakfast were miserable and a little rude. The second night we were provided with our double room which we were thankful for until we discovered the horrendous smell of rubbish that filled this floor of the hotel. Needless to say I will not be staying again, Nor recommending it to anyone else. 100% disgusting
