Just returned from a 3 night stay at the royal seabank arrived as storm arwen was just beginning. Booked 4 sea view rooms which all differed greatly, the other 3 were ok but ours was tiny, very worn, chipped bedside cabinets etc and very very cold, wind howling through the cracked window ( with curtains that didn't fit ) radiator luke warm, no heater in the bathroom, at £120 per night I was expecting a little more. The bar area is quite nice although very small for the size of hotel. And again very cold with the wind howling through the bi fold doors. If you have mobility issues this is not the hotel for you, yes they have lifts but the rooms are on many different levels with stairs everywhere. All the staff we encountered we extremely polite and a credit to the hotel.

On arriving at the hotel we weren't overly impressed, the place really could do with redecorating in some areas but that was the only issue we had. Our room was a good size and spotless with a decent bathroom and shower. Unfortunately the air conditioning unit was outside our window so was quite noisy but we got some ear plugs for bed time. The food was lovely, you picked your choices earlier in the day then when you went down you were served very quickly. There were fourteen of us and we all thought the evening meals and breakfast were very good. We went all Inclusive so all our drinks and some bingo tickets were included. The evening entertainment was what really made it for us. Decent quality acts and the compere Brandon was amazing, only 18 but he was a complete natural and held everything together brilliantly. I was sorry to leave on the Sunday and wished I'd booked an extra night.

We loved it here and will be back, was a great atmosphere within the hotel. Rooms were clean, I asked reception for a few bits and they were always helpful and would go out if there way. Food was great, and in the restaurant the staff were always friendly, bar staff upstairs and downstairs were great friendly and service with a smile and worked very hard. Entertainment was great, really enjoyed the soul singer, the guitarists was great too and the Scottish musical comedian (Jimmy)was a great laugh and skilful. Young Brandon was also very good host, he was also on the Saturday doing his turn funny and mind boggling. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Blackpool and have a great time.
