Had a great long weekend stay at this little gem of a hotel. Such friendly and welcoming owner and staff. The breakfasts are second to none and a range of rum in the bar that will shake you down to your boots. Five minutes walk from the tram station, five minutes walk to the Pleasure Beach complex.
Having stayed at Clifton Court on several occasions before, I'm pleased to say that it keeps it's reputation as the best place to stay in Blackpool. The breakfast is the best I can think of, all fresh and made to order and with plenty of continental breakfast options as well. The bar is cosy and friendly, with a great range of drinks to choose from. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel is in a great location at the quieter end of town, whilst still being perfectly located for the theme park. Recommend this place to all my friends and family as well as anyone looking to spend time in Blackpool whilst avoiding the more rowdy, partygoers!!
Stayed for 2 nights in the small double which was more than adequate. This place is spotless, the breakfasts are delicious and the bar is fab. Graham is a really nice guy, really friendly. Had a really good weekend.
Have recently returned from a two night stay with my mother and son. I chose this hotel as it is very close to the the Pleasure Beach but in a quiet street where there is plenty of free parking. Tram stop is just round the the corner so very easy to reach the central Tower area. The rooms are fairly small but they are very well laid out and spotlessly clean with comfy beds, so we were very happy. The cooked breakfast is delicious with good quality ingredients. Graham was so helpful, from providing local information when I was booking to making sure that we were really well looked after during our stay. Thank you Graham and staff for helping to make our first visit to wonderful Blackpool so enjoyable.
Stayed at the hotel for two nights with my daughter and three grandchildren. We booked a family suite (double bed and two singles) and a second room with a double and single bed. The family suite was a good size, well maintained with a fridge, safe and bottled water. Beds were very comfortable and everybody slept well. The second bedroom room was relatively small but few people go to Blackpool to sit in their room! The en suite in the smaller room was a little cramped but adequate with a temperamental shower that went from scolding hot to cold for no obvious reason. Both rooms and the hotel itself were incredibly clean with well laundered bedding. The owners were very friendly and lovely with the children. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was one of the best l have tasted in a B and B and l have stayed in many. Produce was fresh and good quality, choice was extensive, food well cooked and plentiful and staff very efficient. It was obvious that the owners went out of their way to ensure that nobody started their day hungry. The hotel is close to the sea and tram stop ( near the Pleasure Beach and South Pier end) but set far enough back from the main roads to ensure a quiet stay. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable visit with lovely hosts and although not a regular visitor to Blackpool l would certainly stay at this hotel again if in the area.…
