Hotel is lovely, parking is super, staff are fantastic, breakfast ok but very very noisy resulting in very little sleep. We had a family room and this was located on the first floor facing the main road. It was OK size wise (perhaps a little small, but adequate) clean, with plenty of plugs. Ensuite shower room was a bit snug. Problem was late at night there was loads of people shouting up the road and cars seem to use it as a drag race. That coupled with the creaky floor boards above with the guests looking out the window everytime someone shouted! Kev was fab and said if that happened again to call down to reception and they would do something about it, but realistically we werent sure what could be done. The second night, again there was lots of noise and shouting, someone was trying to get into a room near us at 3am and kept banging in the door, whoever was in that room wasn't letting them in and all they did was keep others awake! So again, not a restful night. Julie was fab and a good giggle, provided a decent sized, basic breakfast, nice that everything served to the table so reduced people walking around. All staff really made us feel welcome. It was OK for the weekend but we left feeling exhausted. Some would regard this as a fantastic weekend! If I was to stay here again, I'd request a room off the main road.

We arrived Saturday afternoon asked where to park and was shown where to park then went in to the reception the lady was so friendly she got one of the staff to deal with us we went to the rooms which was clean and spacious the following morning went for breakfast and the staff was very friendly and nothing was any trouble for them, the food was excellent and plenty of it. There was entertainment on some nights. We would like to thank all the staff for a friendly and welcoming stay, we will certainly be going back 😄

Wow what can I say. From walking through the door we were made very welcome by Julie the Manager Eric and Kev. It felt like we had stayed here for years but it was our first stay and definitely won’t be our last. I was travelling with my mam who is 80 and has dementia and Alzheimer’s also her friend Joan who’s 84 and they laughed from going to coming back as staff were amazing with them. Breakfast was all served to your table and was always hot and very well presented on the table and nothing was a problem to any of them at all. We had room 3 next to pool room and we never heard a noise at all as this was closed off at night. Thank you Julie and all your staff you were all amazing. Lots of love Michelle Kath and Joan.

Stayed here a number of times when over in Blackpool for the illuminations and have always had an enjoyable stay and likely will return next year. Always a pleasant welcome from Julie and her crew who mix well with our group and have had some eventful and fun times in the past. Rooms can be basic but are clean with good bedding and abundant white fluffy towels for the bathroom. Breakfast is table service with choice of cereal.juices tea, coffee and abundant toast followed by a hot cooked breakfast served in the refurbished dinning room. Good selection of drinks available at the bar in the spacious lounge and nice seating area outside front and side of hotel, weather permitting.

close to the shops, coral island and beach. great, friendly and helpful staff at all times. basic breakfast. clean bedding and plenty storage for clothes etc. exceptional staff. - basic room, on the smaller side, very outdated bathroom but otherwise alright and tidy. windows inside a little dirty, perhaps needed a clean but overall good. limited plugs in room. parking was a bit of a nightmare if you need to get in/out as it's open and paid parking to anyone, was busy parking. Didn’t take many photos.
