We stopped over here on a long trip from London to Aberdeen. Our room was newly decorated and immaculate. We walked to a local pub for a beer and evening meal. We’d a great nights sleep and a super full English the next morning. Margaret the proprietor was very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful, peaceful location just 10 minutes from Penrith. Perfect host, beautiful bedroom, large comfortable bed and very good quality bedding, The bedroom was a mix of lovely traditional furniture with modern twists I.e. blinds, wallpaper, cushions etc. Breakfast included a good range of cereals, the hot breakfast was fresh and cooked to order with good quality ingredients. Plenty of toast and fresh coffee completed the fantastic breakfast.

The hall is located around 6 miles from Pooley bridge and lake ullswater. The hall itself is set in beautiful countryside and an immaculately kept garden. The room was very spacious, recently refurbished and perfectly clean. The breakfast was excellent quality and you were encouraged to eat more and order more freshly brewed coffee. The hall is ideal for a peaceful getaway but very close to local hotspots The owner is lovely and made us feel very welcome.

We finally arrived from a two trip back down from Wick to! Margaret was on the door step to greet us with a very warm welcome. She offered us a choice of two rooms and we were very happy with the one we picked. Our bed was a king size with fresh clean bedding with a 100% comfort rating. The room and shower were all spotlessly clean. A perfect bonus for us after a long day driving through torrential rain was the tea/coffee and biscuits. Margaret does a fabulous breakfast with a view over the immaculate garden, watching the birds on the feeders.

Stayed at the hall with our camper van. It was small but well cared for lots of caravan and campers No tents. The toilets and shower were fantastic, very clean and Hot water the best shower I have had in two days. Very happy with the site but we were very close to other campers
