Our first trip out to a venue since July of 2019 due to Covid-19 and what a lovely experience it was. They very kindly honoured a voucher we were gifted from Christmas last year despite it having expired the week earlier. Our hosts were lovely and very kind. We stayed for one night in Oct 2020. This hotel has kept its Victorian features, the bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The staff very helpful. The breakfast room and both lounges very inviting with great views over the golf course with the lake in the distance. It is a short walk to Keswick town centre. We managed to park on the road outside the hotel so did not need the hotels parking round the back. We enjoyed the breakfast with a great selection to choose from. The hotel staff kept to the covid rules and we were made very welcome

Spent five days here and, despite the Corona virus restrictions in place, had a very enjoyable stay. Staff worked very hard to ensure we were well looked after. Excellent breakfast menu, good on site car parking ( free if room booked direct from hotel, three minute walk into Keswick main street. Ideally situated for walkers and sightseers. Rooms vary in size but are all comfortable.
