This is a great pub serving descent ales. The food is also good value for money. Their beer garden is lovely. Accommodation is basic but comfortable and at reasonable rate. Breakfast was excellent. All in all a great stay.

Came back here for lengthy gathering after large funeral of friend and colleague who died suddenly and too soon. Just right, exactly the right seting, great booze and the rest, in the local pub he loved so much.

We stayed here over the May bank holiday weekend with a party of 12 divers. The staff couldn’t do enough for us to accomodate us for meals etc. They were all very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are fairly basic but clean and everything works....More
