Contact less check in, instructions sent via email. Really easy. Lovely room, but the shower room was long and narrow, the shower cubicle was fine but on opening the cubicle door you are stuck between the sink and the window. As in all places we stay nowhere in the shower cubicle to put anything. Plenty of wardrobe space. A mini fridge on the floor of the wardrobe, which was really annoying. But at least we had a fridge! The coffee machine was great. As everyone says, the walk down the hill OK, the walk back up - no way! We had a taxi back up twice. If you are looking for somewhere to eat try The Hub, basically burgers but lovely, and loads of gluten free options. If we return to St Ives we would certainly stay at the Nook again.

Recently stayed here for 2 nights on a road trip around Cornwall and we had an enjoyable stay. Our room was a little dark so we often needed the light on in the daytime, but was otherwise very clean and comfortable. We were left a welcome pack with biscuits and juice, which we thought was a nice touch. There is a car park, which is a bonus on St Ives. The trade off is an uphill walk back to the room in the evenings, but we didn't mind that. We didn't see the owners, which was a shame. We stayed in 4 other places during our trip where we were greeted in person and it was perfectly Covid safe, so not sure why this is. The upside was a very quick check in and check out process - all done by collecting key from a box and dropping it off there - very convenient. We paid £118 per night which we did think was a bit pricey, but this is not unusual in St Ives and we did book fairly last minute. Overall I would certainly stay again and would recommend to anyone, as long as you are fit enough for the walk back in the evenings.

Can't fault this place. Good size twin room for my son & I. Clean coffee machine & kettle tea & coffee pods in the room. Comfortable lounge. Runs well with no staff resident in site. Cleaner delightful & very hard working. Comfortable lounge area for guests.

We stayed in September 2021 but no housekeeping or breakfast was provided due to Covid measures. However, despite the emphasis on hygiene, the bathroom extractor fan was almost blocked with dirt and the shower head was unclean. There was a fridge and milk left as a substitute for breakfast but the fridge didn't work and so the milk went solid and sour within 12 hours of our stay. This is a shame as the concept of The Nook is great with a nice downstairs communal area, parking and a convenient location in to town.

Lovely contemporary furnishings. Not as clean as I would hope in this climate. Bed clean and comfortable. Dust on lamps next to bed went to turn on hot handful of dust. A cluster of dust hanging from small cobweb over clothes rail. On suite extremely small and smelt like an old drain. Bin in bathroom stainless still and rusty. No daily cleaning due to Covid to limit contact fir staff and guests. Tiny fridge that didn’t get very cold milk sour after 12 hours of arrival. Two tea bags for 3 night stay . Not replenished. No breakfast due to Covid. Parking good value but tight spaces. It was very peaceful and despite concerns and anxiety over cleanliness relaxing stay.
