Our 1st visit to Fistral Beach Hotel.....and we will be back! Lovely room with a fabulous view....Great food and excellent staff. Pool is a nice bonus as well. We ate in the restaurant and in the bar....both of which were very good.
My wife and I stayed at the Fistral Beach Hotel & Spa from Tuesday 27th July 2021 for 3 nights. This was our first stay having received good feedback from friends. We arrived early which didn't prove a problem as we were checked in and welcomed by reception with a sea view room ( what a view ) and were delighted with our spacious, clean, comfortable accommodation. Queen bed was very, very comfortable and the room well equipped. Really powerful shower with plenty of Gaia Spa smellies. Everything we needed. I ordered Champagne for the room which was sat on ice ready and waiting. Not mentioned by reception who obviously new it was a surprise. We had breakfast in our room every day, booked at 9 am ( full English plus the Danish selection and coffee ). Every day it was delivered on time and was perfectly prepared but more importantly, it was hot. The spa facilities were good with a really nice temperature swimming pool. Very relaxed. The hot tub was really hot ( often they are just warm in spa's ) as well as powerful. Sauna's wet and dry were great too so very happy all round. My wife had a hot stone massage and scalp massage which she said was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed the bar on numerous occasions including some bar food which was excellent. First night, for ease, we had dinner in the Dune Restaurant. My goodness. I have stayed in many hotels and dined at many restaurants around the world but was actually stunned with the quality of the food. The presentation and attention to detail was mind blowing. This led me to having the 6 course sample menu with drinks so I could truly experience the ability of the Chef and his team. Every single dish I had in this restaurant did not disappoint. The complexity and variety of flavours was absolutely World Class. How you can have one dish that delivers a different experience per mouthful is astonishing. Having dined in a number of Michelin star restaurants historically, I felt this was actually better, particularly if considering cost. What a pleasure to dine here and what a wonderful experience. In addition to this, the staff at this hotel were absolutely fantastic. Good fun, friendly, professional, attentive, knowledgeable and engaging. This hotel team are a credit to their employers. Each and everyone from reception to bar, restaurant to housekeeping. I can't remember the last time I was able to write such a positive review for a hotel or restaurant, let alone both. First class all the way and a faultless performance from this incredible team. Thank you and we look forward to our next visit.…
The most amazing Christmas stay. Myself and my husband stayed here for the Christmas package (Xmas eve- Boxing Day) and if you’re thinking of going away for Christmas in the UK, this is the place to go! The hotel is amazing quality with great attention to detail. It feels clean, high end and modern. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious. Entertainment was great. The cocktails, delicious. Finally the view and area, just awesome!
A lovely hotel and spa with all the key amenities you would expect in a stunning location. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, particularly Neil and Noah on the breakfast team in the mornings!
What can we say. We had a fabulous stay again. It was lovely to catch up with Sarah and Nick at breakfast, thank you for your 5 star service again and looking after us. See you all later this year. Thank you again.
Ok so we’re to start, this is an adults only no pets hotel. The decor in the hotel is clean fresh and amazing. Reception staff second to none, nothing is to much trouble. We arrived on Christmas Eve at 1pm two hours early but the room was ready. We had room 205 sea views OMG what a room good size room bed very comfortable views are amazing, bathroom clean with toiletries included which smell amazing. Bar area is light and open with a chilled vibe to it, the bar staff are amazing hats off to Jesus the bar manager. Now on to the dining experience we stayed on the 3 day Xmas break which included breakfast and evening meal. Breakfast is outstanding. Christmas Eve evening meal 4 courses was outstanding. Christmas Day lunch top stars ⭐️. Boxing Day amazing again. Staff are second to none shout out to Noah at breakfast Jack in the evening meals and all the other staff. This place is so good that we ended up staying another night. Spa and pool are amazing as well. If you want a taxi to town it cost £8.00 but we gave a tip each way. Use the taxi company at the hotel. You can park at the hotel for £15.00 per night which is a bargain. I cannot put into words how much this hotel and the staff made our Christmas and made us feel like part of their family and like we had been there many times before ( this was our first time ) but not our last. This is a 4⭐️ Hotel that should be 5⭐️ Hotel and staff are 6⭐️ This is hands down the best Christmas holiday we have had in 20 years. We will be booking agin for 2023.…
Spent New Year's Eve and Day here and thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend. The sea facing room was gorgeous, the food was delightful and the music was excellent. But the best thing about this hotel was how every member of staff (without exception) was so keen for the guests to be happy. Nothing was too much trouble and we were surrounded by friendliness. My only suggestion for improvement would be that the gym is separate from the fitness suite and that could have been made clearer in the hotel signage/welcome information. Otherwise, this was a perfect stay and I'm sure we will be back.
Just spent a fantastic New Years Break at this beautiful hotel and spa. From the lovely lady on reception, right through to the front of house restaurant team who were smiley and chatty what ever the time of day or night! Fabulous room with double balcony on the 3rd floor, room was modern clean and every detail catered for. Food was outstanding and plentiful choice was to be had. Pool and spa, again couldnt fault it. The views over Fistral beach were breathtaking and we certainly enjoyed our cliff top walk on New Years Day! Big well done to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable, will certainly be looking to book in again here in the not to distant future.
Cosy rooms and fabulous service. Amenities in the room were spot on. Comfortable spa, beautiful location overlooking the beach. Nice walks. Easy to park car. Always clean, warm and tidy. Only downfall, fountains were not working in the spa.
Had a relaxing few days away from it all in a hotel that was on my bucket list as heard so many good things about it, lovely atmosphere, friendly smiling staff who went out of there way for us, cocktails delicious, room nice & comfortable (with all the extras you would expect) with a fantastic sea view, breakfasts to die for with lots of choice, bar food not a lot of choice but sufficient for what we wanted! Spa really relaxing although the water jets into the pool were not working, jacuzzi very hot, steam & sauna great, busy but plenty of room for everyone, treatment was lovely, however despite my having a printed confirmation of my booking they had the wrong time & treatment listed on their system, However, therapist was happy to amend it to what I had booked, sorted my knots in my shoulders, nice & firm pressure as requested, will definitely visit again & can recommend…
