We have just had a lovely stay for 4 nights in Newquay. Hotel was perfect for us. We didn’t use the bar/restaurant but it was available if you needed it. Very good security, need room key card to get down corridor. Lift to all floors and hotel very clean. Stunning view from bedroom, we could have sat there all day!! Comfy bed and although no room servicing you just hang a sign on door and they top up/change towels. Will happily stay there again, lovely friendly staff and lots of shops/restaurants nearby if you need them.
Absolutely stunning views from the rooms and the hotel it's self, lovely cosy place would definitely recommend to anyone who's planning to visit Newquay on a holiday or a weekend away especially at the price of it too.
Overall, didn't have the best of sleeps here. The room was lovely, the shower was awesome. But their was a rotten smell to the room that just got worse as the night went on. Eventually at around 2am me and my other half couldn't stand the smell anymore and searched high and low for it, eventually finding out the showers drain was burping up the smell of raw sewage. Josephine, (who was at the front desk at 3am) was amazing, she swapped our room. Made sure we were happy before leaving. Didn't really sleep after she sorted us out, was fully awake at this point and dreading the 6 hour drive home. We decided to book a room halfway home due to the lack of sleep we both had, which was an expense that we weren't planning on. Breakfast was nice, every staff member we encountered was grate and would of rated higher if it wasn't for the shower problem.…
What a nice experience , staff really helpful , great location , room was immaculate and well served , only downside could be parking , out of season there is some free parking locally , not taking anything away from the hotel we will definitely be back 👍
The hotel was very clean and nice. The rooms are a great size, tidy and super comfy. We had a sea view room and it was beautiful. It was a great price and the staff were nice and kind. The location is very convenient the only downside was probably the lack of parking but that’s not the hotels fault.
Hotel is well located, room was very clean. Good value for money. Ample low cost parking within 10 minutes walk it only cost me £1.20 from 2pmFriday to 11 am Saturday. Even the Wetherspoons across the road is one of the better ones
We spent 2 nights here mid January. The hotel has recently had a welcome refurb, and change of policy regarding who can stay. Hopefully this will help keep the hotel in its clean fresh state. On arrival Sydney and Jay went above and beyond to help me with a surprise for my husband. They were Super friendly, a real asset to Travelodge. Our room was great with a floor to ceiling window looking out over the sea towards the harbour. It was clean and warm. Wish we could have stayed longer.
On arrival was greeted with a warm welcome by Sydney and Jason nothing was too much trouble,we was given a lovely sea view room overlooking the beaches, our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable, breakfast was good with plenty of choice puoen and Lina was lovely and friendly! Perfect night away!!!
We had a lovely stay, the staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was well decorated and really clean and the sea view was amazing! I would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a nice and convenient hotel in Newquay.
Firstly a great location with street parking outside summer easily available. The rooms are Travelodge plain useable and this particular hotel has a small restaurant The room we were allocated was an inner room so no view apart from someone’s washing obviously fallen from the non fully opening window We had breakfast that was adequate and reasonably priced, could have been hotter but bearable Nearby there is an array of eating and drinking establishments soma short walk gets you almost anything you may like The hotel is above an Aldi and Asda is a stones-throw away, what’s not to like ( smokers outside the main door )
