I went away because I was really down and ki have to say the pla e lifted me. OK it is in beautiful Cornwall, that helps, but everything was spot on and allowed my spirits to recover somewhat. Lovely room no hassles good food at a decent price, especially the meal deal.
We go here twice a year and the atmosphere is amazing. We just love it. The staff are very accommodating and always get us our 4 rooms close together. The bar area is very friendly and the bar staff lovely
We came for a few days stay as Cornwall was a childhood favourite. The hotel was in an ideal location to visit local towns, the staff were super friendly and very helpful. The restaurant & bar is very welcoming and we found ourselves wanting to stay there instead of going out of an evening. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Generally cleanliness was good however in corner of room was full of cobwebs which begs the question what was the rest of the room like in hidden corners. Have to complement waiting staff in restaurant because it was exceptional
We stayed for one night here the staff were very friendly and helpful the room was clean and comfortable we would happily stay again. One small downfall was the traffic noise coming from the busy main road however they had window guards fitted to filter out the worst of the noise.
Great location Everything as expected of Premier Inn Wasn’t aware that you don’t get your room serviced unless you ask I.e. clean towels, coffee/tea refreshed etc etc Felt a bit DIY making my own bed when oaying for a hotel room
This hotel has 1 main asset, that's the staff, or most of them, for example Cathy at breakfast and the reception crew, Lauren Chris mark etc, are great., as aremost of the bar staff, However if they're not on shift, is it the same....kind of but not quite. Do the bedsheets fit the bed, well 90% of it but not the last 6 inches. Do the windows close, nearly.is the restaurant food good, kind of. Are there toiletries provided.. sort of. Overall a very "meh" experience for a week, that will be instantly forgotten 5 mins after leaving apart from some staff
Positives: Clean Large towels Plenty of space in the room Ample parking Air conditioning Friendly staff Decent breakfast Negatives: Rock hard bed which also makes you roll into the middle Shocking WIFI Flat uncomfortable Pillows When you use the shower the tap also stays on Really cheap toilet paper, better quality in the pub toilets! Awful toiletries Really slow and under powered hair dryer Really noisy, people running around upstairs and random banging noises I understand that Premier Inns are not a 4 star hotel however the cost of the room wasn't cheap so I expected a better quality sleep.
Room 210. Was woken up by the sounds of water gurgling at 1am till 2.30am! Sounded like a faulty water heater or washing machine. Also this room is on the front of the hotel with only secondary glazing on a main road. Request a room at the back.
Stayed here a few times and never disappointed, check in quick and easy, communal areas very clean, the room was immaculate and there was a little treat left in there for us too, will continue to use this lovely hotel everytime I come here to visit my family.
