Stayed here for 3 nights in September 2021 what a fantastic place to stay. Tom and Paula couldn’t do enough for us. Fantastic breakfast every morning with a great choice of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, as well as a freshly made, to your style cooked breakfast. Nothing is to much for this great couple. Great for information on all local attractions and site seeing. The room we had was over looking the looe river. Absolutely perfect first thing in the morning to wake up to with a cup of tea or coffee. Literally a 3 minute walk from room to looe town centre. Cracking location. Cracking hosts.

We stayed for a week at Schooner point, using Looe as our base for travelling around. Paula and Tom couldn't be more welcoming, they made us feel at home and couldnt do enough for us. We felt very safe with the Covid rules in place which didn't affect our enjoyment in the slightest. We stayed in the Anchorage room which was cozy and plenty big enough for two. The bathroom was huge and there was always plenty of hot water. Shower only. We booked through Booking.com but Paula mentioned next time to book direct to get a room looking out to the river. Top tip! The breakfasts were lovely. Plenty of choice of chilled items and Paula used locally sourced items for the cooked breakfast, including some fabulous sausages. All served by Tom to the table. The location was ideal, just a five-six minute walk into the town and beach. All in all we had a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone.

The short break to Looe was a Christmas present for my Mum (purposely booked for September) and we both had a wonderful time. Our stay at Schooner Point made our stay that extra special. The whole place was impeccably clean and the room had a fantastic view of the river and East Looe. The towels were of good quality and the added toiletries made it a home from home. Paula and Tom were warm and friendly and we felt very safe with their COVID practices. The breakfasts were served to our table and both Paula and Tom went over and above to help our stay be so enjoyable and safe. We did have some rain (thunder and lightning too) but they both gave us a few ideas on where to go and interesting places to see. In all, a fantastic time was had by both Mum and I and we will be visiting again very soon. Sarah

I would highly recommend staying here. Paula & Tom were wonderful hosts, they made us feel very welcome and provided lots of tips for restaurants and where to go. The room (Foredeck) was bright and airy with a beautiful view. Lovely toiletries provided in the en-suite bathroom. Breakfast is outstanding.
