Beautiful hotel, great location, good food. Excellent rooms. Very breezy, but that's expected. Breakfast buffet was very good. Land's End is a long way - but this is your best destination. Walk along the cliff top for great views. Don't walk into the bog.
Long fancied a stay at this iconic hotel, so we treated ourselves to a one night bed and breakfast. The whole hotel appears freshly painted inside, and our deluxe sea view double (room 11) was lovely with a luxury refurbished bathroom. Unfortunately the sea view only appeared briefly out of the sea fog! We ate in the bar, rather than the restaurant, but it was just an extension of the restaurant with stunning views. Food was ample and good. Enjoyed a walk around the headland without the day time crowds. Slept like logs in a comfy bed and enjoyed an excellent full buffet breakfast. All staff friendly and helpful.
Stayed here on an unexpected visit to lands end and absolutely loved our stay here. What a lovely hotel in a stunning location. Breakfast was fantastic and it was exactly what we needed for a nice getaway. Will be back.
Stayed for three nights. The location of this hotel is difficult to beat. To take best advantage you need a sea view room but the overall location and atmosphere is what you are getting included in your room price. Land's End has plenty of day trippers but the evenings and early mornings are quiet. This gives the hotel guest the advantage to better take in the natural beauty of Land's End. The weather was kind while we were staying and we were able to spend the evening with the room window open to the sound of the sea. Ships and sail boats passed by all the time with views far out to sea (June). Sea birds could be heard on the rocks along with breaking waves. The hotel was clan and comfortable. It's a little weathered in places externally but I would be too if I was standing on Lands End all day every day. Staff were friendly. Good buffet style breakfast. Parking is included. Some of the pictures on here are not up to date with the hotel having better updated their rooms and colour scheme since they were taken. The hotel offers lower season rates and room offers.…
Came here for a 2 day visit . The views are incredible and it really is a lovely hotel to see the views from. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, the bathrooms were especially nice. We had a noise issue with our room and the team were so quick to move us to somewhere quieter and keen to make sure we were happy, so friendly and smiley. We had a lovely nights stay here. charging £4.80 for a coke is crazy though, the price doesn't make sense compared to the other options. some of the the bar and night staff were a little brusque compared to reception and management staff, which stood out sadly but it didn't overall detract from our stay. Would love to come back as there are some stunning walks around the area on the coastal path
We spent about half a day visiting Lands End and stopped here for a lunch with a fabulous view. We walked a lot along the cliff edge and ended up at the hotel. We sat outside in the sun but had to go inside to order food and drink. Fish and chips were great as was the cold beer!
Booked a room with scenic view of sea, unfortunately views of sea were non-existent. Customer service could have done their bit to solve this issue. It was not difficult to keep a log OR track of when neighbouring room guests were moving in and out of their house among other sound effects from neighbouring rooms. Sound proofing was not present... Dining staff were non interested in their role.
Dreadful service, staff had no idea what they were doing, 5 items on main menu, lamb not available, fish sold out, booked table a month ago. Hotel phoned & asked if we could come early, drinks were ordered & wrong ones arrived! Had too be changed, coffee like dish water, staff need training, especially when guests arrive and expect to have a choice of items on the menu to be told that they've all sold out! Not good enough. At a price of £106.00 for two people, long wait between courses, long wait for food, dog barking non stop in the bar area for the 3 hours we were there. Would not go again.
It was a wet and windy so popped in for drink then decided to stay and have lunch as the surroundings were lovely. Service was good staff very friendly. Food was served quickly and arrived hot. The views were amazing. Would definitely call in again.
My partner booked this hotel for my birthday and it was great. A lovely spot away from it all. The room was stunning with amazing views and great facilities. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The views from the restaurant were panoramic, so a lovely spot to eat. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this tranquil little spot.
