The Premier Inn High Wycombe Central Hotel comes highly recommended for its cleanliness, with guests frequently commending the spotless rooms and well-maintained facilities. While some guests have had inconsistencies with service and professionalism, the welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful amenities typically leave a positive impression. The hotel's prime location is a highlight, providing convenient access to local attractions, though noise levels and limited amenities have been points of contention for some. Despite these drawbacks, many find the hotel to be of good value, particularly due to its reasonable restaurant prices.

Pro: Note In Room says Junnie cleaned it. Very clean indeed and much appreciated
Breakfast could be a bit hotter even at 7.45 am but good range as always. Very friendly polite staff and we had a very good stay. Gluten free information offered freely and excellent speedy gluten free toast on request too.

I stayed here for one-night whilst away on business.

Check in was fast and efficient. Reception staff were able to help with paying for parking, as the machine outside didn’t appear to be working.

The central location was ideal with a range of eateries close by, although I chose to eat inside the hotel. My evening meal and breakfast were both hearty and tasty. The staff were again efficient and very friendly.

As with every Premier Inn, the bed was comfortable and a good night of sleep possible.

I would recommend staying at this hotel whilst in town.

A large group of us (netball team and parents) stayed at this hotel for a tournament in High Wycombe. We were allowed to check in around 13:30 which was good. We had a meal booked in the hotel for 9pm. This was not great. Firstly we didn't start getting our food till gone 9:30pm then the starters and mains were coming out together. Some people had eaten their mains before others starters were served. This wasnt very good with a bunch of hungry people.
The food itself was not to a high standard the mixed grill was served with meat that was more like shoe leather, the steak was not the best either. Adults had the meal deals for 25 pounds with a drink and breakfast included. We paid this at check in then just paid for the girls food and drinks separately after the meal. I must add breakfast was ok.

Once we had all finished eating we were going to have a couple of social drinks, or so we thought..... actually the bar closed at 10:30pm!!! On a Saturday!!. I'll give the bar manager his due he did agree to reopen the bar to serve us all one last drink as we had not heard the "last orders bell". We were served another drink and bar was closed. We were told we could remain in the bar to chat. We did this and played some low back ground music to which the bar manager kept asking us to "turn it down and be quiet". At one point the bar manager was sarcastic and rude towards us. At the end of the day there was 24 of us and other groups still in the bar who had spent a lot of money on staying over, food and drinks etc. There was no mention of the bar closing early and there was no need to be so rude.

The rooms were clean and comfortable but if you like a drink after 10:30pm and you dont want to feel like a naughty child being told to "be quiet" then I dont think this hotel would be for you. If your not a drinker or you dont want to use the bar or your lovely and quiet then this hotel would be perfect.

From start to finish the staff of the High Wycombe central were faultless.
I was in Wycombe to attend a funeral and I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and compassion throughout my stay. The lady on reception was so attentive, she found extra bedding for the second bed which was unexpectedly needed and ran it up to the room for me, all offered with a lovely smile.
She was there throughout our stay and I'm glad I was able to see her on check out to thank her again, but also to thank everyone there as the restaurant staff were helpful and friendly, the room was lovely and clean; and even though we were facing the road it was quiet and the air con kept us comfortable. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Wycombe to stay here, its not often you find the combination of lovely staff and clean comfortable quiet accommodation.
Thank you again for making a very difficult time just that little bit easier, it means a lot to me.

A fairly standard older style Premier Inn on the surface. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Friendly service at Reception. One of our room doors did not secure, and nor did the door of our replacement room, unless you kicked it shut, so check your doors.

The location is very central, which became a big problem. The McDonald’s next door closes at midnight which meant lots of noise and activity right outside until late into the night, long after closing.
The car parking opposite is a litter strewn gloomy multi story which had people coming and going in and out at all hours doing goodness knows what. Homeless people and beggars roam the car park and patrol the area around the hotel entrance. People in the corridors were loud and disruptive at all hours and seemed to have no consideration of anyone else. The lifts and corridors interchangeably smelled strongly of smoke or weed.

The room above us sounded like a family of elephants having a late night party. In the middle of the night a room further down decided to have a full on slanging match in the corridors filled with expletives and screaming, and kids running up and down repeatedly and banging doors. Once this calmed down it was followed by a loud phone conversation in the corridor, recounting everything we’d just heard and still in the early hours.

I know it is centrally located. Perhaps we were just unlucky this time. I would expect this sort of disruption in central London on a weekend, but not on a Monday night in a market town. After countless stays at other Premier Inn properties we’ve never had such an experience.

My fiance and I stayed here on New Years Eve. We arrived early but the lady at the desk was more than happy to check us in and even gave us free parking for the night. Excellent customer service. There are limited spaces in the hotel car park and I think we got one of the last ones but you can use the nearby sainsburys car park and I think it is actually cheaper by £1.
On a round table by the door where you go through to the lifts you could help yourself to tea bags, coffee, milk etc Very impressed as they never leave enough in the room and when you ask for it they normally only give you a handful.
The room was our usual twin but I liked the fact you could open the window but there was a sliding screen in front so you could drown out the noise.
Perfect location with sainsburys next door and mcdonalds opposite and a stones throw from the main town centre.
Would definitely stay again.

Arrived for a 1 night stay, hotel car parking was full therefore parked in the multi story right next door. Reception at the hotel had a queue as people at the front ‘had an issue’ asked staff if we could use the self service check in which was cordoned off, reception had no key for this and upon asking a couple of other staff neither did they. Reception asked two staff to help check in the queue- one refused so appeared to be the chef and the other reluctantly agreed but had no idea what he was doing, checked us in then said he had to get to the restaurant, leaving the rest of the queue for a restaurant with 1 table in.
Finally checked in and 1 lift was broken, our room was of the normal premier inn standard which was great, noise from the McDonald’s 4am onwards not so much.
Evening meal food wise was lovely, service again not so much. Dining/bar area was freezing (in August) from air con which I asked to be turned down, in the end we moved. Coffee machine was broken apparently therefore the pudding/coffee option was not available despite asking if we could just pay for the pudding, not able too apparently.
1 lad in the dining room was great, the other who literally communicated like Mr Bean not so much, unsure who put him in a customer service role but it needs a rethink. The place significantly lacked anyone who appeared in charge or with any initiative which is a shame given the money we paid for premier inn standards

The room and all others areas were very clean and well kept. The staff were all very helpful and doing other peoples jobs when staff weren't around. Room was very quiet and having a bar on site and a McDonalds next door was handy :)

Stayed in this hotel a few times and its generally nice and friendly, however this time was a little different, We arrived and parked up in the car park on arrival there is a 7ft green cardboard cut out in the foyer about parking with an app (Horizon) to use to pay we did this (£6 per night) We went into the Hotel wasnt greeted for around 5 minutes, when the lady finally came out the back she asked about parking to which we explained, she had never heard of or seen this cut out she rolled her eyes and carried on typing away and checking us in which in fairness only took a couple of minutes, the rooms are now a little basic not sure if a few things have been taken out due to covid such as draws and small settees, the room was clean but the door to the hallway was damaged and had chipping away at the bottom so we had to be careful of these. TV was a little unresponsive but we didnt spend much time in the room so we wasnt tooo fussed. The hotel is in a great location and is cheap and cheerful.
