We had an amazing dining experience and staycation with The Oriental Bataan. This is one of our favorite hotels when staying at Mariveles Bataan. ❤️❤️❤️ It has one of the best sunsets- go to Forest Grill’s viewing deck. Happy to visit as well their VIP rooms- President’s Suite and Governor’s Suite

Very nice resort with all the bells and whistles. Our room was clean, comfortable and plush. Restaurants, bars and nice pool. Set on top of a small mountain with good views of the ocean and town. Not much to do in Mariveles so you might as well treat yourself to a stay at the Oriental.

Room was not clean. Mosquitoes every day and night that makes my sleep not comfortable, thanks to Baygon. WiFi was so weak in my room so I have to use my own broadband. Money is not worth. Water leak in the toilet which I believed it has been reported, perhaps the cleaner saw it everyday. I can't go to the backyard of my room as it was like a bushland. My solution was to early check out and stay in other hotel even i was planning to stay for more than a month. Today is October 10, 2022. I used to stay here for around one month every year and its getting worst. Its nice to see pictures in their website but for me i would suggest to show the actual condition which is quite different so people will not be misled.

This hotel is badly neglected. Leaking ceiling, moldy odour and unlit hallway, The worst welcome desk and concierge area ambiance. Room was only ready at 3pm yet room amenities were still lacking. Our room was located in a separate building thus we hd to cross to the main building if we needed to use their facilities, we didn't have any issues with it until it rained as they didn't have a sheltered pathwalk. Worst, we had to go back to our room to call an assistance to get someone to usher us. Surprisingly, this is still under 3star hotel but sadly to say that a family oriented Motel is much better than this plce.

I never expected this level of hotel in Mariveles. I was bracing for spartan accommodation given that it is in the province. However I was surprised to see a standard hotel with various facials rooms and wide spaces. There was even a fire dance and I live band the day we were booked. There was an initial hiccup during the second period because they were off-line and couldn’t access the booking app however it was quickly resolved upon very strong persuasion to the girl in front desk.

False advertising and misleading photos online. The place is in total disrepair. Pool full of algae, rooms smelling like mold, unkempt grounds, broken and rusty inventory... really not sure where to start with all of the complaints I have about this place .... and I have barely arrived. Thank God we only booked one night here.

Overall it’s not worth your money and time!!! They have a lot of hidden charges. Room is not pleasant. Swimming pool is dirty. Foul odor at the hotel’s hallway. It’s really a nightmare staying at this hotel.

My wife and I traveled in Bataan for a church event which ended pretty late and decided to book a hotel to sleep in after. We came across The Oriental Bataan at Travelbook PH and saw its good rating. The place didn't disappoint and met our expectations, exceeded even. Staff are very courteous, room are nicely done and public places were very clean. And the buffet breakfast are phenomenal.
