The My Home is a small resort of 12 rooms. The 8 rooms in a row and four rooms separated are situated around a nice pool and garden. Great swim before or after a days out. Great with a child. The rooms are big enough with a nice bathroom. Outside you have a small sitting area. At the swimmingpool there is a communual sitting area where you sit in the evening and have drink with other guests. in the morning you can make yourself toast, coffee or tea and order eggs any style. The location is a bit on the outside of town. You need to rent a (motor)bike from the resort or have your own transport. Resort can also arrange a motorbike taxi. Ao Manao is a short way via a backroad. We stayed here 6 nights and enjoyed it very much. Nice, helpfull staff

First of all , you need to hire a scooter, or have transport, otherwise go elsewhere as it’s on the outskirts on the town. It’s cheap and what you expect for the price, lousy water pressure and temperature but the rooms are clean and the pool area nice to laze by if you don’t feel like going out.On arrival the staff seem grumpy they had to stop what they were doing to attend to us and there was little effort to show us how breakfast worked. You just help ya self after 7am.Just toast etc and bananas and coffee. No jug in room so you can’t make your own coffee before 7!!.No room safes but place seemed safe and I would stay again.Theres a of couple of nice restaurants within 5 min walk as well.Calling a tuk tuk was easy and only 10 min from train station.

Excellent place. No fuss and so helpful. Rooms very nice and daily cleaning which can be unusual. Nice small swimming pool. The staff were so nice and relaxed. Nothing caused a problem and you just got on. They even let us use their microwave to warm food. If you want nice, clean, straightforward and friendly accommodation then this is for you!

Dropped in for a couple of nights, it was during Tropical Storm Paduk. The first day was just overcast so we went for an hours drive to watch Elephants roam at a reserve...The rooms are clean and nicely kept. The staff are lovely. It is a great mix of homestay and hotel. Probably the only thing I would have liked is some in-hotel food. There was coffee and toast for breakfast, but that was kind of all. I would recommend the little mookata restaurant to the left of the hotel, it was great.

Very nice place. Located 3-4 km outside the city. You may go to Prachuap by Motorsai, motorbike or bicycle- available for rent. Place is well kept. We stayed in the Standard room. Room a bit small but very cozy, the bed is comfortable and bed linen is good quality. The owners really care about the guests and put a lot of love to creating the resort. Will recommend for getaway especially if you your own transport

Nice, clean and friendly. Reasonable price. Could be a lot worse at this price. Food ok and reasonably priced. Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable with nice sheets but creaking floor. Other than that I have no complaint.

This hotel looks good, at first glance, but closer inspection reveals that it is in serious need of maintenance - for example, the decking boards around the pool are dangerously loose and worn. Our room was quite nice, and the cleaning staff do a great job.The pool itself is good and the garden area is pretty. However it is an odd experience staying there. It is called My Home but it seems to be regarded as home by an indeterminate number of staff who seem to spend most of the day in the kitchen, cooking. But not cooking for the guests!! In spite of their large kitchen, breakfast is a very basic and patchy affair, you can make instant coffee, toast and jam.Possible you could request more but communication is difficult.Occasionally they would put out some bananas, and there were small doughnuts on a plate - an odd breakfast offering. Despite being some distance from town, they clearly do not wish to provide meals for guests, even if you were happy to pay. They really don't want to bother with you it seems. The town is a fair distance away so it is best if you have your own transport - staff will call for a tuktuk(reluctantly, once you have got them to understand what you need)but getting a tuktuk back is hard going. Frankly, I would suggest staying elsewhere. In town. Not at My Home. I felt like I had wandered accidentally into their home and they were wondering why I was there.…

We stayed here because our usual hotel was full but that was not a problem because this was every bit as good. A quick, easy check in and nice rooms, although bathroom smelt damp. the bathroom was very big, had a nice bath but impossible to fill and have a bath as the water was not very hot and very little pressure. But all was ok with the shower. The room was nice...very little storage but no problems. The bed was large and hard...as all thailand beds are but certainly comfy enough. Plenty of good lighting...in fact better than most other places. TV is only thai...once again no drama. Had a small table & chairs on the terrace which was great and free toast, tea/coffee, & bananas for breakfast which was an added bonus & unexpected. The salt water pool was great....nobody else around when i used it daily but no pads on the timber sunbeds around the pool. We hired a motorbike from here at 200bht per day and bicycles are about 80bht each per day i think. Only 3km from the train station & about the same to the big Tesco and town we found this a fairly good little spot although not near the water. We would stay again for sure & the price is very reasonable. …

Great hotel. Very nice pool. We did all the sightseeing by bike (arranged by the owner). Its 15 min from the hotel to the citycenter by bike, or 80 bath by tuktuk. We loved it. Very clean, nice atmosphere and helpful people! It's quiet because it's not in the centre, we like that. But it is not for everyone.
