I stayed here 4 times already. Absolutely amazing place: relaxing atmosphere, good rooms, garden , hammocks, very kind host with perfect English. They serve simple but tasty breakfast. But please note that you need your own transport.

This is a small hotel far from everything unless you have transport. The rooms are tiny but well decorated. When the building work at the back is completed it will be better. The hotel is run for the hotel not the guests even though a friendly reception is given. Ok for a stopover but nothing else

Stayed 1 night while visiting Prachuap Khiri Khan. The hotel is located in a back street so it is better if you have your own means of transport to go to the town center. My room was spoteless with aircon, fan, TV, fridge and good wifi. The hotel has a nicely decorated patio were you can chill. Nice free breakfast. Great value for money.

My husband and I were over the moon to find this gem of a place as we travelled through Prachuap Khiri Khan on our way down south. So please with the place...especially for the price. Only thing that may be an issue for some is the location - it's far from the beach and pier which is pretty much the main strip of activity in the town so best to stay here only if you are happy to drive a scooter (with they have for rent at only 150 Baht!) We arrived from the train late at night and the hotel is a good 20 minute walk in the dark from the train station to best to grab a tuk tuk if you find yourself in the same situation. I had only booked our room 30 mins before via Agoda but upon arrival this was no issue and we were shown several rooms to choose from. We chose one upstairs and one downstairs seemed to have a slight damp smell but the one we stayed in was absolutely fine. The hotel is essentially a large villa that has been converted into a small hotel and during our time there the reception was always manned by one thai lady who had perfect English or a second thai lady who has almost no english, however was always extremely friendly. nothing was too much trouble and we had a few giggles as we tried to communicate together. Rooms were super clean and free wifi worked perfectly. Approx 10 min drive on scooter to the beach. Highly recommend a visit to the temple on the hill in the centre of town which is inhabited by monkeys!

After traveling throughout the south of Thailand early on in our travels this place was an absolute gem. It was the first time of our whole trip that we had aircon and it really made the difference. We were lucky enough to get on of the newly built rooms out the back of the property, it was brilliant. It had a lovely chill out area with a couple of table of chairs and a fan so you didn't feel like when you were at the hotel you were constantly in your rooms the whole time. The room itself past all expectation. Clean, free water and clean everyday with a fresh towel. It's the small things that really make a difference whilst travelling, the little gestures of free water a day etc. The room had all the latest mod cons. The location is set about a 20 minute walk room the main town but that's no dramas. Would recommend hiring a push bike, there not the best quality but they more than do the job. Chilling out at the night market is a 100% a must. Enjoy your stay at Palm sweet Hotel. Ps. It doesn't have a pool, must of been a mix up in the review below.

Fantastic rooms with a top notch swimming pool. Friendly staff helped make our stay very enjoyable. Book ahead with this one, we would have stayed longer but fully booked. Very comfortable beds and all modern.

I travelled to Palm Sweet with my husband and our 18 year old daughter and we stayed for 13 nights in December. We have been travelling around South East Asia for 5 months and this hotel was our best yet - it is absolutely fabulous. The property is very clean, well maintained, stylish and the service is just above and beyond. There is complimentary breakfast everyday of toast, bananas, cake, fruit and rice and always various treats throughout the day! Coffee on tap too. The lady who runs the hotel, On, cannot do enough for you. She took us to see some of the sights of the area, cooked some meals for us so that we could try some real authentic food and if we had any questions she went above and beyond to help. She really runs the hotel very well and is very keen to help at all times. The location is good too as you can cross the little bridge into the town and hop on a scooter or bicycle. We were very sad to leave as we really felt part of the family and next time we are in Prachuap we will definitely be returning. If you stay here you are sure to be well looked after.
