This property is located in a beautiful area of the Muskoka Lakes. The property itself is very nice and the room we had was well maintained and clean. The fireplace was a nice feature. The hotel has several good restaurants and we enjoyed a nice steak dinner our first night.

We decided to check out the JW Marriott Hotel and Spa on Lake Rosseau this March Break after it was recommended by my in-laws, who went last March Break and swore by the experience. We were sold based on their description and were able to convince our friends and their family

Just finishing a 3 night stay with my family . Middle of March break. Wonderful property. Many activities. My husband and daughter enjoyed the snowshoeing. Fabulous to swim from the inside to the outside pool. So much fun doing that in the winter. The outdoor hot tub was a

Familytravellers77, thank you for sharing your wonderful review. I am so pleased to hear that your March Break getaway was filled with many memorable moments including delicious dining, scenic views, spa relaxation and plenty of swimming. The indoor outdoor pool is certainly a fun experience in winter with the snow flakes floating down around you. In regards to the locked balconies, please note that this is done for the safety of resort guests during the winter season. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon for scenic views and intuitive service.

We normally head south for March Break but thought we would try something different this year. This place is quite the place to visit. From being welcomed with hot apple cider to swimming in the indoor/outdoor pool, my kids we very impressed. We loved the snowshoeing and

billc362, thank you for your review and choosing to stay with the resort this March Break. A Muskoka winter can certainly have its own kind of charm thanks to the scenic views and outdoor activities. Roasting s'mores over a winter bonfire, skating on the Lakeview Lawn and snowshoeing among the 60 ft. red pines are just some of the winter memories you can look forward to during the winter months. I really loved seeing all the photographs you shared, a pancake breakfast and swim in the indoor-outdoor pool are quintessential "Muskoka Moments". We look forward to welcoming you back again this summer for many more memories by the lake.

WLKSR, we look forward to welcoming you for your upcoming stay! Please do not let the reviews discourage you from trying one of our on-site dining options. When you dine on site you can look forward to Certified Angus Beef at Muskoka Chophouse, handmade pastas at Teca and fresh ingredients at Cottages and Lakes. The Culinary team aim to delight guests with memorable flavours and the service is always intuitive. I would highly recommend reserving your dinning in advance so the team may deliver the JW Treatment. If dining with children I would recommend Cottages, Lakes or Teca. The lobster ravioli, flat breads and risotto are always crowd pleasing at Teca, especially when paired with an award winning wine list. If you should like to dine off site, the Concierge team would be happy to assist with recommending a variety of options. See you soon!

Jennifer, We are so excited to welcome you to the resort during the holidays! The Recreation team is just putting the final touches on the activity brochure and it will be released on our website and social media sites shortly. During your dates of stay there will be guided snowshoe walks, fat biking, campfire breakfast, kids crafts, yoga and more! On New Year's Eve, there will be special menus offered at Teca, Muskoka Chophouse and even a holiday buffet in the ballroom. There will also be a New Year's Eve party in the ballroom that includes a DJ'd dance party, party favours and midnight toast. To guarantee activities and dining times please reserve in advance by calling the resort directly and ask to speak with a member of Concierge. We look forward to welcoming you soon!

As a Gold member, why don't you ask Marriott? I did not receive a free breakfast but I was only Silver at that moment in time.

Rachel, we are so excited to welcome you this summer all the way from Bristol, U.K! The resort's remote location means that our guests are treated to memorable natural surroundings and the perfect escape from the city. With these scenic views comes reduced forms of public transportation. To aid you in your quest for sightseeing at Algonquin Park the best option would be to rent a car so you can make several stops for viewing along the way and get to specific hiking trails. Another option would be to take a taxi but this would be quite costly. If you call the resort directly the Concierge team would be happy to assist in sourcing out additional transportation options.
