A friend introduce me to stay in this hotel, There is nothing spectacular about this hotel, everything works kinda slow, internet is very slow. The hotel staff was always helpful and polite. For the price range. Good value for money I guess..Stay in this hotel for 3nights ,over all experience seems not really good though. I need to move from one room to another because aircon not working properly, Toilet flush is broken & room is filthy..I need to ask the staff many times to clean the room, but the hotel always loaded of guest to attend..so they just dont care if they dont clean properly the room ( Poor sanitation ). I have to do it by myself..for hygiene purpose..Not likely to recommend this hotel. 😟😟😟

Small reception area. 20 minutes check in, friendly staff
I asked for large room and I paid extra for that. when we got to the room the power was not working so no electricity in the room
They moved me to a small room with refund
The room was very small and basic I did not have room for my suitcase
The rooms Have no windows
Wi Fi did not work till the time I left the hotel
The hotel was created for short stay for locals who want to spend few hours of pleasure
There are 2 discos across the road and one of then named Sogo
They are a joint for Good time girls

Rooms service is not the best. Beds are not comfortable
it is not suitable for long stay

Perfect for backpackers and low budget turists;)
The room is simple, BUT realy nice if you look at how much you in fact pays!!!
Try it.. I did. And why spend lots on a hotel room that most of us just sleep and watch tv anyway?
Btw, the tv is good , flat screen with lots of channels...

I was on vacation in Manila for 2 days with a friend. We wanted to stay near my house but accessible to the city to maximize our stay in the country. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but ended up leaving first thing in the morning after the first day. The room was very dirty. The toilet was disgusting too. The hallway and room smelled horrible. The ac wasn't working. The towels had a foul smell too. I cannot imagine how they offer family rooms in that place. The location is good near mall and main transportation. But don't check in here. There are better options.

Our family wanted a quick escape, so instead of going home to novaliches and going through the 2 to 3 hours of traffic, we decided to spend the night at Hotel Sogo in marcos hiway.

My 9 year old daughter specifically requested for a "bath tub" so we ended up requesting for a jacuzzi room instead of a plain regular room just to spend the night with.

Well, over all the room was plain, the lighting a bit "dim" for our taste (but i guess it would be great for couples LoL) Most of the jacuzzi parts in functional but sad to say the bathroom is really run down. The tiles were broken, and the fixtures were rusty.

On a happy note, the food was great ! We ended up ordering and ordering room service. Their La Paz Batchoy was DELICIOUS ! We ordered it for dinner and for breakfast. Their corn coup was also good, their cheeseburger and many more ^_^

Overall, overnight stay was ok, we woke up smiling.

i stayed at the super 8 down the road, (bad choice) for 2 nights.then moved over to sogo. big difference. nite and day difference.. first room was #307 nice room, but very stinky, toilet did not work right, tv sucked. they moved me to room #102. but the bathroom light did not work and ac did not work well. so then they moved me to room #101. no problems so far. staff was very helpful and nice. they did all the moving of my things for me. been here for over a week and is the best hotel for the cheap price. less than 3 min to walk to 2 different malls which have everything you would need to buy or things to eat. payed for the executive room. cost is less than $40.00 us dollars a nite. i did spend some time in the room, but was out and about checking out the sites of the city most of the time. if and when i come back. i would for sure stay here again. its not a fancy hotel, but the food was good when i ordered it.

This is a 1500 peso per night hotel. It is not the Hylton or Sofitel. Rooms were clean, but the air con noisy. The only TV channels were adult ones, and there are mirrors on the ceiling!!!. But don't be mis-lead, the staff are very friendly and helpfull, and meals are free if dilivered after 10 minutes. We didn't like having no window, but , we were asleep, so maybe not important. If your looking for a cheap hotel in this part of town, then this really is a no-frills place. Don't listen to some other sites bad reviews, the staff make up for the lack of amenities, and we had a good nights sleep.. Internet is free, if only the big boys provided this service free.

This place is excellent. I give Ma'am Stefanie a high rating. The staff friendly, treat you very well, and are very accommodating. Food was sarap at a good price and room service excellent. Aircon worked well. I suggest you request to check the room first which they allowed us to do to be sure it meets your climate expectations. The bathrooms are Philippine style meaning no separation between shower and toilet. Get over it. No "smell" in the room. Shame on you "tourists" who expect $100 US a night facility but will only pay $25 US. We stayed 2 weeks. My wife can be demanding and I am a spoiled 'Cano used to a cooler climate. Thank you for your service and putting up with us. We may stay again next time we are in Manila.

Rooms have no windows even though it is the deluxe room. lighting is quite dim. Air-conditioner is quite noisy. most of those who check-in in this place only check-in for a short period of time and not really the entire day, or weeks.

Overall I could have stayed on a different place.

This "hotel" is good for short trysts or overnight stays if all you need is a bed, showers and adult channels. It offers a discreet tunnel from the lobby to Sta. Lucia Mall (and Robinsons) where you can choose from a lot of restaurants and shopping options.

It is also near LRT 2's Santolan Station that links you to Cubao and other places in Metro Manila. Room is clean enough and staff is friendly. For 1500 for an overnight stay, it is the best and good value for money against rathole motels in the area. No brainer!

"if you dont like your room and are staying for a few days or a week, just tell them and they will move you. they dont clean your room, but i just asked for towels and clean sheets. you just have to turn in your used towels and sheets to get clean ones. probably because people steal them. but was no big deal to me. at least all week long i never saw any cockroaches.that was a nice relief..."
