Went for a quick getaway for a couple of days and was very impressed with this resort. Although we only had a partial ocean view from our suite, it was still a wonderful view of the beach as well as the boardwalk. The reception staff was very helpful, but a special shout-out to the server at the restaurant. When we awkwardly asked if it were possible to have someone in the kitchen warm up a heating pad, she told us the hotel will supply a microwave to our room if we asked for one at the reception desk. A very short time later, the microwave was delivered to our room. Good service, indeed! The boardwalk and beach was a stone's throw from the hotel. What a great relaxing time away. I would recommend this resort to anyone!

A lovely property located right on the beach in downtown Parksville. Excellent service right from the time we phoned to reserve thru to our checkout. We had an ocean view room and it was ocean view!! Our patio deck was 90% private and we very much enjoyed using it to enjoy a glass of wine and people watch the beach! We are island folk and will definitely be back to this property!!

Arrived fairly late in the evening after some ferry delays, but check in was warm, friendly and speedy! Staff notified us that he expected it would be busy as it was the Easter weekend, but gave us helpful tips on how to avoid the busiest periods in the pool and restaurant. Parking was well located & easy to access. We stayed in the 1 bedroom oceanfront suite on the 4th floor and we were blown away. The size, the convenience (right on the boardwalk), the layout, the VIEWS, the full size kitchen, the in-suite laundry - a true home away from home. We travelled with our infant son who was recovering from a cold and so we ordered room service throughout our stay and the service was impeccable - from the ease of ordering, to the speedy delivery and friendliness upon arrival. The food was excellent and always delivered hot! Breakfast and dinner was always a treat. We did get a chance to use the pool and hot tub and it was not only empty (useful tip from front desk staff - call down to check first!) but a super relaxing experience after a few stressful days. The location is second to none and I cannot say enough about the breathtaking views. We will certainly be back, 10/10!!

We just spent a night at The Beach Club, in a very comfortable room. We were surprised at the resort fee but were overall content with our stay. The room felt well appointed with quality linens, and we had a view over Mt. Arrowsmith.

It is the little things. We love this place. The staff are like family. Yes, there have been issues, sometimes, but when isn’t that a fact, lol, but ALWAYS responded to quickly and resolved quickly. This visit once again proves to be amazing. The sofa bed not so comfortable, but then when are they. The decor and set up is beautiful and comfortable .The housekeeping staff are efficient and quick, the front desk staff are always happy and ready to assist with any of your questions and needs, the folks that help with luggage and much more are polite, friendly, and “get it done”. This stay, always 5 to 8 days, we have another reason to sing their praises. They have a new chef who offers Thursday night prime rib, 3 course for a super price, the thing is I love everything that comes with it but don’t eat the red meat! The chef agreed to provide the exact meal deal and to provide my seafood choice of prawns..Its the small things..!! We have been coming here for a number of years now as many times as we can and love the view, the hotel, the people and the sense of being “at home” in a hotel is so necessary to make our stay “right”. The boardwalk, and the ocean is icing on the cake and Marcy one of the management team always impresses us with her commitment to excellence and her commitment to the staff, she always includes them in any accolades!

The Beach Club had a special on for two nights. so my bff and I decided we needed a girls weekend. I have always wanted to stay here but its normally over $500 for the basic room. The hotel is on the beach so it is in a great location. We booked the basic room for our girls weekend in January. Booking was super easy through Expedia. The only thing was there was a $15 a day resort charge that we some how missed and were a little surprised about at check out. We at least know for next time. Check in went smooth, we arrived about 45 mins early and our room was ready. Check in went really smooth, there was free underground parking We were on the top floor of the east building. Took the elevator to our floor. Seems like the top 2 floors have to walk outside to get to your room, its cold when you are coming back from the pool and hot tub. Not really ideal in the winter. The room was nice, very clean, it had a small patio with 2 chairs and a table that you could see the ocean, it had a small kitchen area that had a sink, dishes, mini fridge, coffee maker, which was all we needed. The bathroom was small but had all the normal amenities. They did not offer robes in the room but they delivered them on request and was only about a 10 min wait. Again, way too cold to go to and from the pool/hot tub without the robe. The beds were very comfy with a few different pillow options. We both slept very well. Some of the staff was amazing others were kind of snobby if you asked a simple question like where is the best place to get to the beach. The restaurant on site was very nice they offered outside dome dining. They had a lot of common space on the main floor, on site spa, gym, pool and hot tub. We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub it was fantastic and quiet but was not anything special. I would stay here again but not for $500 a night.

This is one of the best places to stay. The suite is so wonderful and self contained. Large bedroom and a sleeper couch as well. Two bathrooms, and a huge soaker tub, laundry, full kitchen and views to die for. The restaurant has amazing food and the staff throughout incredible. Spa, swimming pool and all amenities!! Love this place and 8 days were not enough.

Very friendly staff, caters to families, great pool! We also enjoyed our food from the restaurant. Walking distance to the best playground on Vancouver Island. We will be back for sure this summer! Ask for room facing beach.

This was our third time at the Beach Club Resort. The last couple times we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with kitchen facilities. It is big, nicely decorated and offers a lot of amenities like a fully stocked kitchen, fireplace and washer/dryer. We found the price very reasonable for what was offered, including an ocean view. After our stay here we went to the Kingfisher Resort and the Beach Club offered way more value for money! We were also happy to see multiple EV charging in their underground parking (which Kingfisher lacked). Also, beds super comfortable! We will absolutely come back.
