This immaculate B&B is lovingly run and maintained by David and Ida, who will charm you as your sincerely caring hosts from the moment you step in (and remove your shoes. You are in a home, after all.). There are only two suites, but they have every comfort imaginable, with particular attention to luxurious bedding. The theme of the place's namesake is evident throughout, from his biography in one of the parlours to portraits and artifacts lining the walls. The history is a nice touch, but the elegant dining area and made-to-order breakfasts are even nicer!

Property's Favorite Review
As veterans travelers who frequent Bed and Breakfast Inns, we recognize a high quality venue when we experience one - and the Sir Isaac Brock B and B is one such location. Besides its central location to all of the historical and midtown attractions, the Inn itself conjures up an atmosphere quite in keeping with the prevailing architectural ethos of the neighbourhood. More importantly, of course, are the hosts. Dave and Ida are warm, engaging, knowledgeable and thorough in making our stay pleasant and memorable. The quality of the room, the related amenities and the food are all A+. Great value for the money. We will stay there again.

This place is splendid for an overnight. A restored house from the early 19th century, it has only two rooms on a quiet street. It is easily within walking distance of the core attractions of Brockville. Shoes have to be removed to protect the fine flooring upstairs. A quick tour of the house was given, including the main floor sitting rooms and the inside and outside breakfast locations. I was shown as well the Prince’s Chamber where my breakfast order was taken [same being from 0600 to 0800]. You could have a Keurig coffee there and while away some time with board games. I stayed in the King’s Suite, both rooms being on the second floor. It was tastefully furnished, including a separate sitting room. There were two complimentary bottles of water. I should have slept better on a rather firm mattress but I’m not the soundest of sleepers. The main floor sitting rooms were comfortable, same to the left on entry my favourite with its military themes. If leaving the building, just lock the main door. The morning breakfast was taken inside due to a marked change in the weather. It was a three way tie for first for flavours between the parfait, the omelet and the thick bacon. There were issues with the wifi, especially on departure day, though that is likely a systemic issue. The hosts, Ida [ee-da] and David, are very gracious, making you feel right at home. They began the b&b akin to a retirement project. They have done a fine job.

While i would like to say that my stay at this B&B was great I didn't get the chance to stay. I had been looking for a spot to lay my head for one night with my wife while in Brockville (for the first time) and came across this place.
Looked great, good reviews and so i decided to book it. I had checked the availability for my dates and booked a room but after 1-2 minutes (literally) i noticed i had selected the wrong week, totally my bad.
I cancelled it immediately and looked at the correct dates i wanted but it appeared to be full so i just left it at that.
To my surprise a few days later my credit card was charged the full rate of the room. I called to inquire and verify that my reservation had been cancelled (which they confirmed it had been) but that i refund would be issued a refund in up to two weeks less a $25 charge for cancelling the booking. I was quite shocked that a booking of literally 2 minutes got a charge of $25 for zero administration effort on the part of the B&B. The excuse i got was that the credit card company charges them, that may or may not be true but it's just bad customer service and relations in my opinion.
In the end i paid the $25 and it was completely my fault for not verifying my dates before clicking but that just left a bad customer service taste in my mouth.
In any event my wife and i found a much more reasonable B&B around the corner called "Widow's Peak" that was fantastic and were taken care of like royalty.

Our cancellation policy is clearly stated on our website for direct bookings made through our on-line system.These reservations have the benefit of a reduced rate. This nominal $25.00 charge is to cover costs charged by the credit card companies. We are charged a transaction fee for both the original credit card payment and another fee for processing the credit for the cancellation. Your gripe should be with credit card companies not with small businesses. It is unfortunate that costs are incurred for such cancellations regardless of how quickly they are made. This comes down to who absorbs the costs of an error ...... clearly you feel it appropriate that we bear the cost. Like most small businesses we have to work to mitigate credit card fees . Furthermore, your comment that there is "zero administration effort " is baseless. If you had been able to rebook another date we would have waived this charge.Furthermore our cancellation policy is far less restrictive than those of most small Bed & Breakfasts. You are the first person in over 10 years of operation that has given negative feedback with respect to customer service or our cancellation policy.

You are greeted by a charming couple Eda and Dave who show you to one of the two classically furnished rooms. The beds are comfortable, everything is spotless. There is an extra room between the bedrooms to have a glass of wine (bring your own) to read or play cards or board games. The next morning you are served a large, delicious breakfast.The B&B is walking distance to the beautiful Brockville waterfront. It was a wonderful experience.

We recently stayed with David and Ida for three nights and loved every part of our stay; in fact we were very sad to go.
The building is amazing and they've done a great job of updating it while keeping a historical feel and decorating it in a warm, comfortable way. We stayed in the Queen Suite and it was awesome. Staying in that suite gives you an entire half of the upper floor to yourselves, and the suite had all kind of amenities. It was immaculately clean and there is a nice sitting room/area when you walk in to watch TV and cozy up by the electric heater (made to imitate a fireplace). We really enjoyed coming in every evening from the cold and sitting there in the comfy chairs chatting and watching TV to wind down.
Another nice touch was the lounge room between the King and Queen suites which provides a fridge for leftovers and a coffee machine, kettle for tea, as well as newspapers, board games etc.
David and Ida are amazing hosts. The breakfast is delicious and filling, and we had a great time chatting with them every morning before heading out for the day. By the end of our stay with had all made friends and I look forward to keeping in touch with them in the future.
You really can't go wrong staying here. It's in a great location, just a few minutes' walk from the downtown area, the house and suites are great, and it truly feels like a home away from home within minutes of your check-in. We'd highly recommend staying here to anyone, especially those on a romantic getaway or those on business looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay before continuing on the road. We can't wait to go back. Thanks David and Ida for making our time extra special!

The ambiance in this beautiful home is so welcoming which speaks volumes about the amazing hosts Ida & Dave, who so warmly welcome you into their home. A wonderful place to stay....highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a small town vibe in Eastern Ontario. Each room has a small sitting area, private bath, and separate bedroom. And there is a "library" offering coffee, tea, board games, a myriad of books, and a bar fridge for your own refreshments. Ida and Dave could not be more welcoming.

The bed, pillows, room, breakfast was the best. Only 2 rooms and very quiet, shared reading/game room with mini fridge, ice, coffee, tea. The breakfast was tailored to our request. Just WOW. Ida and her husband were pleasant, present when needed. We had like a little private TV room in our bedroom so if one wanted to watch TV later without disturbing the other partner in the bedroom.
