Well located to 401. Great staff. Clean. Covid breakfast bag is excellent . Rooms could be soundproofed. ...can hear people mucking about. Okay wifi. Location for travellers is good. Close to amenities.
Would not recommend this dirty, filthy, stained, poorly managed hotel to anyone. Awful stay, so bad that we were concerned for our own health. When brought to the attention of the staff, they said they agreed and wouldn’t even stay there themselves, when taken up with a manager, they wouldn’t do anything about it.
I have stayed many times at the Travelodge LaSalle in Kingston, so decided to try this brand in Brockville. Big mistake. This is a very tired and unloved property. The lobby is shabby, the room has horrible furniture, the king bed was too big for the room that made getting in and out difficult. The bathroom was grimy (only a shower). You got two rough towels to use in the shower. Yet, money was spent on a the TV which was massive and they had Netflix. So appears, that the basic comfort and cleanliness comes second to the TV. The Comfort Inn next door is much better. We will not return.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Two story building, no elevator, ice machine on second floor only. Room a bit tired looking in need of a make over, fresh paint. A/C worked fine although filter was dropping out of bottom of unit. (((This was room 121)) on back of building. Bathroom door had a hole in it on the inside, and bottom of toilet had a crack in it. Room was clean though, and shower only, no tub. The Comfort Inn was much busier than this location. So long story short, needed work but was quiet and clean. Also on a lighter note, the desk chair had no support on the back. when you leaned back it would almost tip over. Also note on the door asking all who enter to wear a mask because of the Covid19 pandemic. At times when leaving the establishment there were others not wearing masks and the staff cleaning out the rooms neither wore masks.…
I wish I could rate this place with a minus! It needs a bulldozer and turned into a parking lot. There was nothing good about it, bathroom door wouldn't close, holes in walls, filthy, noisy, uncomfortable! Run!!!!!!
