Located on the St. Lawrence, just a few minutes outside of downtown Brockville, it provides adequate amenities. The room I stayed in was clean and quiet. Breakfast was a bit of a let down, but you can't expect too much at the price you are paying. Staff were helpful, even bringing soap to my room as the cleaning staff had replaced everything but the soap. Good for an overnight. I give it an average rating.

A lovely, quiet, affordable place, not far from downtown and all the beauty and activities of the St. Lawrence. Hotel grounds are well kept and rooms are a little dated but quite nice.
Front desk staff is incredibly kind and helpful but I felt very badly for her...during my first day, she had to deal with four unhappy customers who were given Smoking Rooms and were unable to change them due to capacity issues.
NOTE: If you are booking his hotel through any online site (Expedia, Booking.com, etc) it will immediately give you a smoking room and NOT tell you! I booked through the Wyndham site and got what I booked but others left because there were no other non-smoking rooms available. Front desk was apologetic but hands were tied...you will need to contact booking site for complaints and refunds (good luck). At the very least, call te hotel to confirm your room before leaving home. Hope this helps!

The motel is well maintained.
We stayed in the honeymoon suite (queen, jetted tub).
The layout of the suite is nice. There is a private balcony at the back. Very nice and quiet.
We booked that room for the jetted tub. The jetted tub did not work (July 2022). The manager at first dismissed my report as 'user error' but eventually conceded that the tub was not working. If you stay in this suite, when you first check in, I would advice that you fill the tub past the jets, and press the button to ensure that it is working. If not, report it straight away.
Although you are very close to the river, there is only.private access to the river. You can glimpse a nice view from the hill behind the motel.

Brockville Super 8 by Wyndham is close to an abundance of great restaurants and attractions with a quaint Historical Town. Between 401 and St. Lawrence River...so staying on the river side is quieter than hearing highway traffic. The pool was warm and clean and refreshing after suntanning on the lush green grass. Staff were Friendly and efficient. Upon leaving Sunday morning before labour day Monday, the power went out in the entire region and water would not turn on so before 11 AM we washed up at On Route just west on 401. Soft beds made intimacy thrilling and as exciting as the Jewel of the St. Lawrence Cruise out of Brockville Harbor. Great Value for all that is included, many thanks, Suzy.

With the good, came the bad unfortunately. Here are some points regarding my recent stay:
The good = very friendly staff, parking, location.
The bad = old, dingy, musty, dark, horrible mattress, broken lamps, cob webs and mold.
While this may seem like a spiteful, overreaching review I assure you it is not. The moral of the story is, staying here costs little less than more reputable chains, throwing another $30-40 at the problem would have been very much worth it. This is a lesson I have learnt the hard way. For what I consider to have been a comparable price to better options, I do not think I am being unreasonable in expecting a room free of stench and mold at minimum. Perhaps the plaque on the wall asking for positive reviews to spite the state of the accommodations should be a signal to ownership that it is time for some updates.

Place is updated well kept-pool is heated and clean. Rooms are updated. The owner aim to please and have taken care of many details overlooked by expensive hotels-2 ply toilette paper was a surprise. Nice flowers, friendly service.

This place is fantastic. Located near the St. Lawrence river with good access to the highway. Very quiet and peaceful. We stay here often when we travel to the east coast. All rooms are very spacious and super clean with very comfortable beds. Lots of pillows and warm blankets.
Internet is very fast and good coverage for all rooms. In summer we enjoyed the clean open swimming pool and family dinner under the tree in the open area near the pool.
Included breakfast is delicious especially do it yourself waffles.
Very kind and hardworking staff making your stay a memorable one. This is the best option to stay near the Brockville. Highly recommended.
Internet is very fast and good coverage for all rooms. In summer we enjoyed the clean open swimming pool and family dinner under the tree in the open area near the pool.
Included breakfast is delicious especially do it yourself waffles.

My wife and I had booked this hotel early summer and due to an emergency, could not go, but forgot to cancel our reservation and as such it was charged to our credit card. I called the hotel and the manager, Nishan De Silva, although very understanding, advised that he could not refund our money, as they had kept the room for us. However he gave us a credit for a room.
We retuned to Brockville this week and, Nishan gave us the credit. He was genuinely happy to do so and made us feel very welcomed. This type of service and attitude is rare in this day and age. We have stayed at two other Super 8 hotels and always found them vey good.
One thing I noted, while there, was that there seemed to be many retuning customers and the hotel was busy. A good sign. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly.
So thank you Nishan. My wife and I had a nice time and a great meal in Brockville.
Your pool was nice and warm.

The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and was quite musty smelling as well. Unfortunately because of Covid the room wasn't made up during our absence during the day, apparently we were supposed to ask for clean towels if we needed them. Adequate lodging for a 2 night stay.

This was a last minute stop and we went by reviews to choose where we wanted to stay
We compared $ value and recommendations in choosing . Not very happy with this choice . Beds wre not comfortable, breakfast was included but was a bit of a joke. The room was not very clean with cobwebs and bathroom floors had some mold
