Terrific lodge with lots of activities, homemade dinners for a few dollars a few times a week. Have spent at least a week here every year for 20 years. Walk to lake, casinos, resturants, and lots of shopping. Can't recommend it highly enough.
When I first arrived I was surprised to see the exterior of this place since I had read the high reviews earlier. The outside looks like a low grade motel renovation into a time share. The rooms are reached by outside access just like the...More
We have been coming to the Stardust Lodge for over 6 years. It provides us with everything, location, cleanliness, great staff, & great GM in Kenny. It is located just south of state line by the casinos. The grounds are beautiful with flowered plants all...More
My room was right across from the activity center where every morning they offered a continental breakfast. The area was quiet. There were activities if you were interested such as bingo and making tie-dye shirts and the stay included 2 free delicious Mexican dinners. The...More

Ask at the front desk for passes. Then check out bikes/locks and beach towels to head down to the lake. (We often pick up sandwiches at Raleys or Subway to take, though there is a small restaurant on the beach right off the entrance.) The bike ride to the beach is safe, pleasant and easy. Heading back to the Stardust is a little more of a workout! You can also opt to head to the busier beachfront area down the street. This is where you'll find restaurants, shopping and activities like parasailing. Again it's an easy bike ride there and a little more taxing heading back. Do enjoy the beaches while you're there!
