The place is definitely a hit! Even the rooms are clean and spaceous. I just missed the homey ambience of the restaurant which was advertised so well! Though the food looked appetizing, our sinigang failed to tantalize my tastebuds. Even the cheesecakes came short of cheese, but the hot tablea chocolate was a show runner!
Went here both for lunch and dinner. Liked the way their platter is presented with all the items included in one square wooden tray. The place is very spacious with lots of tables, and a great ambiance greets every customer. Food are mostly filipino, grilled, fried, boiled. A hearty meal achieved. The hotel is Balai Gloria but their restaurant is Cafe Angelo.
We travelled to Solano in December 2019, for a quick family reunion. We were a group of 17 with many being first time travellers to the Philippines and only use to accomodations like a Hyatt or Marriott. Although the location, in the rice fields, seemed a bit odd, we were pleasantly surprised by the resort, both on how nice the rooms were and how clean they were. The staff was very helpful and provided for a great experience for the many first timers and even some of us seasoned travellers. The food was good and although I prefer to stay with family when visiting Solano, when not possible, or if nice accomodations are requested, I will definitely think of this hotel again.
Celebrated my Mom’s 90th Bday celebration here at one of their venues. The staff are really nice , cheerful, and accommodating! They always greeted us with smile and prompt service when we needed it. I had booked several rooms in different cabanas in their property for my entourage and all of them were clean and decorated tastefully. The room sizes were good size as well as their en-suite bathroom. Their grounds are very clean and serene. Truly an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the center .
We were here for breakfast and appreciated it. Restaurant was spacious, quality was nice, selection was broad and prices was affordable. Toilet could be better, tap was leaking. Nice restaurant on the way between Manila and Batad
