Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam7 contributions16 helpful votes
Had an amazing time here. Some of the nicest staff I've ever experienced -- friendly, helpful and accommodating. Staff had a lot of personality and always willing to help when we needed it. They helped us find the best way around the city and provided scooters for a cheap price, though they could do with some more maintenance. The location is a bit isolated but quiet with a great view. Even though it is quiet it is still close to plenty of places to fill your time. It is a few minutes away from some great restaurants and good beaches. The rooftop pool is a nice place to spend some time that offers a nice view. The rooms were big, very clean and homely. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good. Overall: it was a great time, felt very comfortable with lovely people running everything and would 100% go back again. The Fish Village Villa is a great value for money and not to be missed out on. Highly recommended for travellers looking for a convenient, happy stay.

Outside the busy and noisy city, though easily reachable by taxi, the brand new hotel is the best you can expect from a family run hotel. Extremely clean & well furnished, it's ideal for those looking to relax, whether solo, couple or family. When the weather is good, it'd be great to experience the pool with a stunning view over the fishing bay. Thank you for the stay and warm welcome. Plus you can stroll around with the free bicycles

· It is completely newly built hotel. We were warmly welcomed and upgraded for bigger room on arrival. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable, we also had a small balcony and small kitchen area. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, every evening we had a choice (local food/eggs). The pool on the top was absolutely amazing! We also rented hotel's motor bike (you must, it is quite far from everything). Since it was raining most of the time, we were not charged all the days we rented the bike, which was very very kind gesture. The owner spoke english well, other staff a bit less. The staff were all very helpful and kind, we loved our room and the pool!! Normally, the whole area is really silent, but sadly during our stay there were workers working on the nearby building and every night after sunset until late in the night they were singing karaoke VERY LOUD!!! First night, the manager managed to call the police to silence them but it didn't work the next days.... :( It was really disturbing and disappointing. DATE - end of September 2019 - Hopefully the work is done by now!

Tucked in between sea view and Son Tra peninsula, the Fish Village Villa is an ideal shelter for those who seek to unwind. Each room is fully furnished with pantry, glass toilet (with blinds of course 🤣) and balcony looking into the fish village). All facilities are pretty much brand new so don't expect analog television programs. If you have a Netflix account though, feel free to enjoy all your favourite movies in bed. Nonetheless you're there in Da Nang to sightsee, sunbathe and immerse, so feel free to ask the staff to lend you a motorbike. Be courteous and fill it with full tank of gas though. Morning breakfast are freshly prepared by the staff. Enjoy local homecooked flavours under the shade of the veranda. Or if you prefer the morning sun then you can indulge yourself in the rooftop pool overlooking the ocean and the mountains. Overall 5/5. Highly recommended.
