We were looking forward to a beach holiday although admittedly the weather was poor. The place needs better maintenance as it is quite run down. Food from the restaurant is good with great service. Unfortunately, facilities were a let down.

Home away from home, Montemar has been for us since the late 80s. With the recent renovations done in the rooms it is even better now. The food is good, service excellent. They do need to spay and neuter the cats around the place as they are populating!

With its relaxing beach area view, you will surely enjoy your stay. Decent room and great food plus nice service all worth the stay. Glad to come across this resort and would be recommending this to my colleagues. Really worth it!

We were elated with premises upgrade while food has been very good yet priced still very reasonable. They allowed our EV car to charge which very welcoming. Rooms have been renovated and looked very smart. Worth the long drive and have been frequenting this place for several years.

Arrived late coz we were warned that there was a power outage and power would resume around 4 in the afternoon. We have no choice with everything prepaid. Wide menu, but most items not available. Room service not reliable because if you do not follow up your order, it will never come!

I enjoyed our time at Montemar Beach Club. The food was good and the surroundings were really beautiful and lush. That said, the rooms were very dated (but clean) and the service was more than decent enough but it felt like most were just going through the motions. The attendants by our rooms though, were excellent and very accommodating. The beach was very clean directly in front of the resort but if you walk to the far end of the beach, there was trash littered everywhere. Also, the last day we were there, the waves were pumping and i really would have loved to surf there. Alas, the beach was close due to the waves. It is a beach club/resort, right? I can see why people come and enjoy their time here, a nice respite from the craziness of Manila. I am glad that we visited and had fun but I will probably not return.…

Very nice place quiet and relax. Room is quite old but clean and comfortable. Food is great but a little bit pricey. Swimming pool is nice and clean. No hassles in check in and check out. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Beach needs improvement. Must be cleaned everyday for trash. There was also a dead cat on the beach so we did not bother to swim there.

It is perfect for family bonding.. Although the way was a bit far, but it was worth the long travel. It was really a quiet place. The landscape and the beach were indeed beautiful.. the rooms were also nice, we had a terrace facing the beach..

Its a bit of a long drive from Manila about 4 to 5 hours but the place is easy to find. I like how the whole place is not too big because its easy to just walk around if you want to go to the beach or the pool from you room. They have 3 swimming pools so its not very crowded and the beach is just a few meters away. They offer different water activities and some sports like tennis and badminton. I really love their breakfast buffet, everything is just delicious. I also like that their rooms are very spacious and are overlooking the pools and the beach. Will difinitely recommend this place.

Facilities were great, the cove, swimming pool, and team building area. Sunset was very nice! I also commend Jerusa, she's a very good assistance with our stay. However, rooms needs to be renovated and was very disappointed on how they've managed the buffet. Basically, they've disencouraged our staff to get extra food even our guaranteed number of pax is more than the actual participants. I've notived that their are so many left over food.
