Detailed Reviews
My collegue chose to book at LAZ HOTEL in a Family Room as part of a present for his partner, it was very disappointing.
We turned up at 22:30 and the person at the desk had no personality and we were not greeted or welcomed as you would expect from a hotel. No other options for payment.
The room was not OK considering it as family room it very small, the bathroom is very small, weird and dark, shower is very slow, beds linens have b stains on it. Lights are blinking and the color is different.
His partner did not get good sleep because the floor above creaked all the time and some girl in the building kept shouting and screaming. I suspect the know that there is an issue with the floor boards. TV is blurred.
The breakfast was not good. They only have Filipino food and no other. According to my colleague they didnt ate the bfast. Bar area or is it resto? No fine dining.
Overall, total lack of customer service, did not get any sleep due to the creaking so they need to sort out their floor boards. The whole experience was not worth the money at all, and not what I would have expected for the price.
They didn't bother to complaint to any of the staff instead leave a review here.

The hotel itself was over-priced for what was offered. The service was also lacking. We had just come off of four days spent traveling around the Philippines islands staying in places much cheaper, with much less to offer, with way better customer service.
We really aren't picky and relatively low maintenance. I just didn't think the whole experience was worth what we paid. Especially considering there are so many beautiful spots to stay that are so much cheaper.
Staffs are noisy at back and tiktoking at the poolside with the girl Krisna and the fo guy with eyeglasses. They don't really understqnd what's it's like to be hospitality industry.

The hotel has many problems, the first was all the linen dirty and no refrigerator in the room as advertised
The shower does not drain properly so you are constantly walking in water.
Every afternoon the staff seem to enjoy full volume Karaoke which makes it impossible to be out of your room, but to be fair the unbearable daytime karaoke across the road makes it even worse.
The breakfast menu is totally Filipino and very small portions. There is absolutely nothing for an international traveller at all. Considering this appears to be the only hotel in the city seems very strange.
One of the reasons I picked hotel was for business as I need a very good internet connection. During the 2 days I was here the internet was totally unreliable and when it was working I had to work in my room because of the noise from karaoke.
The staff were smoking on duty and had little appreciation of the guests and I get the impression that they do not really have guidance or training.
This was my first time in the city and I fear this does not give a good impression. My Pinoy friends were so concerned they were trying to find me alternative accommodation, but I decided to just stay the two days and find food out.
Like a previous post on Tripadvisor I did not see any point in complaining at the hotel, nobody seemed to be interested in me, so I have left the review here.
To put this in to context I have been living and coming to the Philippines for over 20 years and this was extremely disappointing.
