Detailed Reviews
Price was 1200PHP per night for a room with 2 single beds. Window Air Conditioner, room had nice new looking tile on floor and freshly painted walls but an old TV but it had a good selection of channels by the local cable TV service. The bathroom was unacceptable in the means of it had a constant sewer smell. I had to keep the door closed, The plumbing must have not had any stack pipes installed to vent sewer gasses. I had to pay an extra day room rate due to the day I arrived and checked in at 6am and the day of departure my ferry did not depart until 6pm so I inquired what time is your check out and was told it depends upon what time you checked in. I asked if we could stay until 12 pm at least and was told I would have to be out by 7am or another days charge. There was a menu in the room but no other info on where to eat the foods or how to order. We are at local places that were good and a close walk. Watch out for the trike drivers we were over charged many times just because we are foreigners. We walked everywhere after the second time of being overcharged so the scammers cut their own throats. I would try someplace different next trip to Romblon.

Romblon is composed of four islands, (if I am not mistaken): Tablas Island, Romblon Island, Sibuyan Island and Carabao Island. I have been in Romblon, Romblon and in Tablas Island. I discovered five different ways to reach Romblon. First, you can take a plane to Caticlan, then a pumpboat to Looc, Romblon -- Welcome to Tablas Island! The pumpboat ride is around 1.5 to 2 hours. From Looc, to Romblon, Romblon, you have to get to San Agustin. To reach San Agustin from Looc, you can rent a van, which was a bit expensive because it costs 3,000 pesos. From Tablas Island, San Agustin would be the gate way to Romblon, Romblon. There are two trips via pumpboat everyday from San Agustin to Romblon, Romblon. First trip is at 8 a.m. and the next trip is at 1 p.m., and vice versa. The pumpboat ride is one hour. Second, you can take a Zest Air Plane to Tablas airport. The airport's manager has a van which will take you to Odiongan, Romblon and that costs 250 pesos per head. From Odiongan, there would be jeepneys that will take you to San Agustin. But the jeepneys travelling from Odiongan to San Agustin are a bit rare. The earliest jeepney from Odiongan, Romblon is at 5:30 a.m. but you can also opt to rent a van, which again is 3,000 pesos, though you can haggle it to 2,500 pesos. Third, you can ride a roro to Odiongan, Romblon. All the roros going to Romblon is in Batangas. Montenegro shipping lines leaves Batangas port at 5 p.m. everyday. The roro will arrive in Romblon at 2-3 a.m. Fourth, you can ride a roro straight to Romblon, Romblon, again from Batangas Port. The roros going to Romblon, Romblon, however, aren't on an everyday basis. You have to check with the shipping line in Batangas Port for their schedule. And so, finally you are in Romblon, Romblon. The Romblon Plaza Hotel is fair enough. Service, room, and price is okay, though I wouldn't say excellent, but then for the island of Romblon, I'd say, it is okay. Food is cheap and the manager is friendly. Good thing with this hotel is that it is near the port, like walking-distance near. :)

A rooftop allows you to watch the boats coming on and going back.
A little restaurant there too.
No elevator but staircase..
Poor airco noisy and out of condition.
No comfortable beds and terrible bathroom and still quite expensive.
About 1200 pesos but what else?

Friendly welcome. But then the room 303! Dribbling water in the bathroom however taking a shower impossible NO WATER! the storage bin had only very little water.
Quiet? Bingo was played for hours. The aircon rattles loudly. Finally I had a good sleep on a firm mattress.

We stay here last March 18, 2015. Location was great, just a 5 minutes drive from the pier. Breakfast is great. Rates include wifi connection. Very affordable price. Great for thrift travelers :) And yes, just a 10 minutes walk from the Marble Shopping Center .

We stayed here for 3 nights and the owner even toured us in their resort called Punta Corazon which is 15minutes boat ride from the Romblon Pier. The hotel has a very efficient staff and the food is good. I love their roof top where you will dine and you will see a good view of Romblon. Their location is very near the market and the Church.

Reservation made two days before. We arrived on scheduled ferry at 3.45am; no security guard on duty and no receptionist but all open. 10 minutes later, six more people with reservations arrived. After 30 minutes calling, ringing bell, knocking on doors, we found telephone number of owner in front desk drawer. Called owner, caretaker eventually woken up and handled the four rooms. No towels; 20 minutes later one towel delivered. Finally sleep. When checking out the next day before catching the ferry at 7.00am there was nobody at reception to take our money or receive the room key. We left the money at a nearby restaurant and asked them to hold it for collection; notified owner by text message. Hotel staff collected the money two days later.

We stayed for one night so we could explore Romblon town before heading onto Sibuyan.
The location is great, a few minutes walk to the harbour and in the centre of town.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a big and clean with a balcony overlooking the plaza. The food is good, we ate on the roof with beautiful views.
This is a nice hotel for a nightstop in Romblon town to catch the early ferry, but for longer stays there are some beautiful resorts on the beaches around the island

We had one of the aircon rooms. The water in the sink wasn’t working at all. When we told them they seem to know and didn’t care. The bathroom floor was always wet and actually we don’t know where the water came from...
Most of the time noone is at the reception nor the restaurant and could assist.
Also the room could be cleaner.
Definitely no recommendation. Wanted to give zero points....
