Its inside Los Alerces National Park, next -or even above- to Futalaufquen lake, a marvelous place just to be there. Once you get through the road, its all forest sorrounding your path. There are several places to stay in, in a range that includes from camps to boutique hotels. This place is a regular bed and breakfast with a couple deparments to rent. We got one of them and it is independent from the whole building. You dont have too many services all around, so I would strongly recommend to buy groceries and fill your vehicule tank before getting from the nearest town (either Trevelin, or Esquel). Comfortable, practical and cozy. There is a tiny road to a tiny harbour. Next to the building there is a platform with a couple of banks: ideal to have some coffe or tea by the sunset or even the evening: snow from the peeks in front of you would reflect the light of the moon, making it a view you cant possibly reproduce by any camera. But still, I leave a hint of it.…
We stayed four nights in this small family run lodge. Everything was clean and tidy. The rooms had everything that we needed. We had a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Because the park is a distance from any urban setting, the internet is slower here than other places we stayed in Argentina. But there is internet and cell phone service in this middle park of the national park. The adjacent restaurants served excellent food. The breakfast at the lodge offered a range of fruit, cereals, bread, and yoghurt, juice and coffee/tea. we would recommend this hosteria as good value for its location.
