This place has great location, is spotlessly clean and has pretty much everything a traveller needs. We stayed in a four bed-dorm. Beds are proper nice beds, not bunks. The price for a night in the dorm was overprized, compared to other israeli hostels (140 ILS) as breakfast was not included. Tea and instant coffee on the house. This place also suffers from a total lack of athmosphere, hence the ”cold”
We stayed at the Cana Wedding Guest House recently while hiking the Jesus Trail in Galilee. They were exceptionally helpful, providing us with options for dinner and breakfast - which was huge and superb, and a travel service to the start of our trail as it was Shabbat so no regular taxis. My husband had gotten an allergic rash from a plant he had walked through and the owner even took us to the local pharmacist and translated for us. The stay has provided us with one of our great memories from the trip.
Breakfast and dinner are very good and the family are very friendly!! I suggest you to come here! The Guesthouse is in front of Cana Wedfing Church, in the center of the old town. There is a convention with Jesus Trail
This privately owned guesthouse is a very nice place to be! I was there in July 2017. The owners are very friendly, helpful and very hospitable. I highly recommend the place! The atmosphere is very nice and there is everything you need.
When our extended family was recently hiking in Israel, the eight of us arrived after a long hike and met the truly wonderful family which owns and operates the guest house. It's a centrally located across a narrow walking alley next to the church. The rooms were simple but comfortable, with a handy kitchen attached and an outdoor patio where we were served a strong coffee on arrival. I have to also mention that the family which owns the guesthouse really showed exceptional hospitality ... One of our children was sick and Salhud prepared a special soup for her --- which beyond being helpful, was also so very kind. We arranged to eat dinner at the guesthouse, in their home --- and it was truly a feast and highly recommended! Some days after we left, we realized our daughter had left her wallet behind. Sammy found it and mailed it to our home in Switzerland! That kind of hospitality is rare anywhere and we can certainly highly recommend the Cana Guest House.…
