Wonderful atmosphere. Very comfortable room with a fantastic view of the volcano. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pools were relaxing and very enjoyable. I didn’t know I could have taken a cab into the local downtown area. That would be a recommendation. Even without leaving we had a wonderful time.

We want this to be our 2nd home. The best hospitality we have ever encountered anywhere. Everyone was wonderful. We were greeted with drinks and a cold towel when we arrived. Reception desk helped us plan all of the amazing activities. Every server was thoughtful and meticulous. Words can’t describe enough how much we love the Royal Corin.

This place was just incredible. It’s located just down the road from the town of La Fortuna and in the shadow of the volcano. You check in on a couch and are immediately brought a beverage. I cannot overstate the level of service in this hotel - you are treated like royalty by everyone. The rooms - quite nice if not fairly basic. But each room has a balcony with a view of the volcano! The pools - this is where the hotel truly shines. The main pool is so warm and wonderful and has a swim up bar. Next to it is a cold pool and a slightly less warm one. And around them are smaller hot tubs of varying hotness. There’s lot of spots for lounging. Restaurants - the breakfast here is buffet style and spectacular. So many options including an omelette bar and a juice bar. There’s two restaurants for dinner with different menus. The one on top of the hotel is slightly fancier and has nice views. But the food at both were quite good. Lunch we usually had poolside and it was lovely. The spa - if you come here and miss the spa you are missing out. Not only was the massage amazing, but there’s a whole area just for spa guests with hot springs, saunas, and cold water stuff too. We spent all afternoon there - even had food delivered! The gym is located near the spa and you can reserve it for yourself at the front desk. They had a lot of good equipment. Tours - the hotel will book all your tours for you and there are so many options! Don’t miss the hanging bridges tour. You can go yourself via Uber to stuff for cheaper.. but having a guide means you don’t miss anything. Overall this is an incredible 5 star resort that I would love to come back to!…

Amazing staff, beautiful location, wonderful hotel. Guests were treated wonderfully and hotel was very clean. Multiple hot springs pools to relax in after a day exploring. Hotel is also happy to help you book excursions. Pictures do not do this hotel justice it is stunning. We will be back!

We stayed 3 nights at the Royal Corin. The hotel is lovely, clean and comfortable with great views of Arenal volcano and close to town. We ate at the Lava restaurant which had a lovely ambience and delicious food. Shout out to the drink master, JOSE, at the swim up pool bar. He mixed up cocktails and served our Imperial beer with a smile. The staff we interacted with were courteous and very helpful. Cristopher at the front desk and Kristal (breakfast and pool bar) were kind and lovely. Very impressed with the breakfast buffet and choices. We would definitely come back!

A beautiful and very professionally run hotel with great facilities. Our room had all the comforts you could want and more with a lovely balcony - the only slight disappointment was that our view of the Volcano was obscured by palm trees (yes, I know, that is a typical tourist criticism - you come to a tropical country and then complain about the palm trees!). Actually, as all the guide books tell you, you are lucky to see the Volcano anyway, no matter how close you are as it is usually shrouded in clouds. Everything about this hotel is well thought out. The thermal pools are wonderful, and much hotter than I expected. The pool bar was a great place to hang with excellent food and drink service from friendly staff. The food in the Emperador restaurant was so much better than I expected that we ate there both evenings - why pay for a taxi into town when you probably have one of the nicest restaurants around on your doorstep. The food was fresh, delicious and well presented, the service first class and the prices reasonable for a luxury hotel. Breakfast was a terrific buffet of everything you could possibly desire. The staff was terrific and very well trained with David, on the Concierge desk, and Daniel, in the Emperador restaurant both outstanding. The hotel is only a 10 minute taxi ride into La Fortuna which is worth a look around. I thought this hotel represented value for money and would not hesitate to recommend it.…

This place did not disappoint. It is a 5 star boutique hotel, and while not a huge property, it has beautiful surroundings, is gorgeously landscaped and you can get to all the attractions of La Fortuna easily. I did a ton of research before arriving and I am so glad I chose this hotel. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and the views were unbelievable. The breakfast spread was so delicious, tons of options and lots of local specialties that were delicious. The hospitality was outstanding, the staff was so welcoming, helpful and friendly. We had amazing massages at the spa, which was gorgeous. The thermal pools are so relaxing after a long day of activities and the swim up bar was really great.

Hospitality is outstanding! From the minute we arrived to the minute, we left! Jose the pool manager/bartender was the best , seemed to be a mind reader!The only subpar amenity we’re the towels , they left a bit to be desired. Other than that it was a great experience!
